GB News- Covid: Return of lockdown measures backed by extraordinary number of people
The question asked was “Currently, there are no legal Covid-19 restrictions in place in the UK. Thinking of the current health situation in the UK, would you support or oppose the Government re-introducing each of the following Covid-19 restrictions at the current time?”
Polling revealed 45 per cent supported, with 16 per cent saying they strongly supported, having to wear face masks on public transport, with eight per cent strongly supporting the rule of six, limiting the amount of people who can meet outside.
The poll found that 51 per cent of those asked who voted for Labour in the 2019 General Election supported the reintroduction of masks being worn on public transport. 41 per cent opposed it.
This is contrasted to the Conservatives, with 45 per cent supporting the restriction for masks on public transport being brought in, against 52 who were opposed to it.

There is a reason the Brits are still a little squeamish.
In London, thanks to their robust immigration policy, nearly 50 people out of 100,000 have Tuberculosis. The first half of 2023 saw a 7% increase from that baseline.

Here in CA … they want everyone masked and shut down because of … RSV. Yes … we have an all new boogeyman to instill FEAR and COWARDICE in a dull-witted population. Oh … and make no mistake … there will be more … with all new acronyms.
And the sheeple never have a thought wondering why a virus like RSV (which previously was a danger to infants until their immune systems were developed at about 6 months, and a danger to virtually no one else) is now all over the news in the last few years.
Is RSV now hitting people hard who wrecked their immune system with the COVID gene therapy, are they overplaying it to scare up sales now that even most of the sheeple don’t get boosted, or both?
There is nothing stopping these people from wearing them now but they don’t for some reason. It’s almost like they don’t actually support this at all.
They do support this but they want the state to compel you to recognize and share their neuroses as well. They are the same kind of people who view themselves as caring and compassionate yet are statistically proven to be the most miserly when it comes to voluntary charitable giving. Or how they need state force/coercion to achieve DEI or any of their other Marxist utopian constructs. Not wanting the state to do so is an act of intolerable selfishness. Individuality and freedom are threats hostile to their view that the state should look after them and they’ll only feel at ease when they know everyone around them is, to paraphrase, equally miserable.
If an outside gathering is limited to 6 people, then shouldn’t there be additional restrictions on how many people can ride public transit at a time… 4 sounds like a valid number per bus, and 1 person per train car for the tube…
at one time we had a strict limit on school buses and no enforced limit on public buses.
Result : half the kids would catch the public bus and you would have a public bus trying to fit another few people on while the school buses would pass with the regulated 20 or so kids sitting in solitary splendour.
Sheeple can wear whatever they want or desire, but if I’m told I need to, that’s where I draw the line.
The real issue with the masks is what they are doing to our natural environment. There are legitimate reasons for wearing a mask. If you are sick and have the desire to be in public, then masking up so as to not spread your sickness is noble.
My issue with masks, from the beginning of this “scare”, has been the sanitary nightmare of the masks and their turning into cesspools in time. As people breathe into them, they load with a heavier concentration of bacteria and if that person indeed has a virus, it becomes saturated and like a petri dish.
I have yet to see anyone wearing a mask not touch it multiple times at minute, adjusting it, especially when speaking with others. Their hands and fingers now become agents of death. Whatever they touch is now likely an extension of said petri dish.
Is this actually a bug or a feature?
It’s not noble, it’s deranged. If these lunatics were serious they would be wandering around with a fully sealed self contained breathing apparatus. Anything short of that fails for corona sized viruses and is just a superstitious voodoo talisman of fear. Better yet, these people should lock themselves away from society as they’ve proven themselves a threat to it. Unfortunately they were counted on and leveraged by government in support of their assault on society.
I won’t forgive or forget the fact that people still perpetuating this nonsense fully supported taking away our rights, snitching, denying us health care, groceries, travel, jailing us or worse. What they need now is ridicule and shaming since obviously logic and reason didn’t work, and their leaders need criminal accountability.

It’s so damn depressing.
Before all this happened the sight of someone masking was rare, odd, a curiosity. Usually the wearer was almost certainly east Asian. Even amongst them it was uncommon. Everyone could carry on and let live – each to their own. But the plandemic fundamentally changed that. Government, media, tech, and the medical community baselessly weaponized a bad strain of cold into 3 years of rights trampling and divisive fear mongering, tapping fully into the subsection of authoritarians, hypochondriacs, and the ignorant to do so.
When I see these mask wearers now I no longer pay them no heed – I see a dangerous threat to everything I hold dear.

And masks cause a rebreathing issue, which tends cause low oxygen in the wearer’s blood stream, causing health problems and effecting the immune system as well. People are just plain stupid.
The same generation of people who feel it fully appropriate to silence the free speech of everyone else (but never themselves) is the same one that thinks we should all be wearing masks. Two words come to mind: The first begins with “F” and and the second ends with an “F”.
By the way, do you see the “2 m[etres]” on the sign in the photo? That distance – aka 6 feet – was COMPLETELY MADE UP by “officials” in the White House. It’s not based on any data or any science. They just invented it, much like they invented that paper masks would prevent an aerosol based virus.
Apparently the Covid germs can linger for hours in the air so all of these preventative measures are complete Covid Theatre.

Still waiting for Pierre to say something about the mandates and the way rights were robbed and what he intends to do about it. Also heard nothing at all from him about the National Citizens Inquiry. They keep asking me for money. Pierre has my vote but only because he can’t be worse than Trudeau. Pierre can’t even bring himself to go even that far. The half answer of it’s your choice is good enough as long as the ones choosing are given full informed consent of the risks and the benefits. Of course no one in their right mind would ever agree to take the damn mRNA gene therapy if they were also properly informed of the risks of septic shock, heart attacks, myocarditis, stroke, neurological damage, immune suppression, the probably link to turbo cancer, ect for the highly dubious benefit of being at slightly less risk of infection with a cold for three months followed by dramatically increased risk of infection with a cold for the next six after that.
If there’s anyone still stupid enough to believe in the Coronahoax, then THEY should cower in fear, stay at home, and pointlessly wear a mask that would do them not an ounce of good even if the Coronahoax was real.
Meanwhile normal well-adjusted people should be able carry on with life as usual.
However it is precisely because there are people this stupid that the corrupt, lying scum who rule us can pull out the Coronahoax card whenever they want to go full fascism again.
