  1. Never let a crisis go to waste eh? Seems like there is a lot of those hate speech laws being enacted all over the Western world. Probably nothing. Just one of them far-right conspiracy theories.

    From what I heard, the stabber was naturalized Irish, right? Supposed to be deported 20 years ago, meaning the government itself had reached the conclusion this man was undesirable. Then a rights groups exerted its influence and had the decision reversed? Then the government ignored its own conclusion and naturalized the guy.

    So let’s not talk about this, or the concept of accountability. Let’s muzzle the rabble.

  2. The next Irish election campaign will be Jan. – Feb. 2025.
    Will any political party be permitted to criticise this legislation?
    2 of the 3 parties with real support are right and right/liberal, the leading is socialist but that’s using established media commenter’s views, not actually “right” or as they term everyone near to Donald J. Trump, “far right”

    I’d say they’re done, as for whatever reason “Travel Ireland” is popping up in all my internet news feeds,
    they can likely save their money, that’s never going to happen.

  3. The “MacGregor Factor” is actually a big cog in this. How hard he decides to push could be a deciding factor. My guess is he will step back and stay wealthy once the “right people” whisper in his ear. If he has integrity he’ll go balls to the wall like he used to back when he was an actual fighter.

  6. Aside from speech criticizing the Irish migration policy what about other criticism. Will criticism of the housing crisis or the public health crisis be deemed hate speech and silenced by the Gards? If an opposition politician criticizes Varadkar will they be deemed to have committed hate speech since Varadkar is Gay?

    We see this everywhere now – speech laws.
    And then criticism of the “anti-hate speech law” becomes illegal.
    Ironically, despite the push coming from Godless neo-Marxists like Trudeau, its another win for Islam in its march to dominate and control the world.

    1. Sinn Fein threw the protestors under the bus. If memory serves, Sinn Fein had some quite unsavory connections back in the day. They were instrumental in training other terrorist organizations on how to bomb civilians.

    2. The IRA had enemies that immigrated to Ireland 400 years ago and were fully integrated but say nothing of very recent immigration that is making massive changes to society. Their dearly beloved Roman Catholic Church will soon be kissing Islamic ass and they love it.
