In a nation as mired in economic chaos as South Africa is, exports that earn foreign currency are the only thing literally keeping the lights on to the extent that they are. But if the current government has its way, a huge portion of that earning potential will soon be blocked.
South African farms deemed “too white” will no longer be able to export their produce to the UK and the EU, according to postings in the Government Gazette, the Johannesburg-based City Press newspaper reported.
Under the rules, farmers must meet specific Black economic empowerment targets to continuing obtaining export permits.
It’s called Rhodesia, not Zimbabwe. Just as the Jewish homeland is called Israel, not Palestine.
I will say though—forty years after a victorious Hamas had driven the Zionists into the sea, Free Palestine would find itself a hellhole so poverty-stricken and miserable any Arabs not made men in Hamas would finally start fleeing to Egypt and Jordan voluntarily—and the Egyptians and Jordanians would hate the Palestinians even more than they do now.
South Africa suffers from a plague of illegal black immigrants from “Zimbabwe,” hated wherever they go even by black South Africans. Such is the price of biting the hand that feeds you.
Let the name change with the incompetent administration. It will help solidify in everyone’s mind what was responsible for the downfall. We all remember Rhodesia and South Africa being prosperous despite international sanctions, and collapsing as soon as race obsessed marxists got some power. The one thing I really respect about Nelson Mandela is that while he was in prison, he must have paid attention to the world, and he gave up on his communist dreams and seemed to have realized that survival requires a working system. Too bad he could not purge the ANC of those who did not grasp this concept.

By over-ridding municipal bylaws so that any single residential zoned lot can have up to six houses built on them regardless of existing zoning. They’ve made new development next to impossible so they go after existing neighborhoods and destroy them. They’ve also racializing access to Crown licensed resource tenures. They are as communist as they’ve ever been.

A large and I suspect growing number of South African farms have turned their operations to game hunting. I don’t see wildlife on that prohibited list. Hunting is big in South Africa, really big. It is likely next on the list of things to ‘eliminate’.

My second employer was from South Africa. He left at the age of 19 in 1952 and came to Canada because it was the last decent white country. He died in 1995 from cancer. He would be appalled at what Canada has become.
There was a very large diaspora of white people who left South Africa in 1979 and 1980, came to Canada and
most were in the financial services industry in Toronto. In the last 10 years, I have met 2 men and their families who left SA and the doctor who treated me in hospital was from SA. About 10-15 years ago, Russia was actively recruiting white farmers to emigrate to Russia. Do not know if that is still a thing.
The South African government said about 2 years ago, that they won’t kill white people “yet”. Why any white person is still there, is beyond my comprehension.

South African farms have a class system. The owners may, in fact, be white. But, each farm, also, has workers, resident workers, and domiciled family members. It’s less a business operation than one huge family working together. Think of it like the ranch you see in the television show, “Yellowstone.”
What I’m getting at is that this rather obvious effort to get white farm owners to voluntarily leave their property for lack of profits essentially effects the thousands upon thousands of black farm workers who are gainfully employed there and call it home. To further complicate it, those workers will tell you they have a connection to that specific land in a spiritual nature. I suspect they would all prefer to keep things as they are rather than see the farm likely fall into the hands of a government lackey.
Also, these farms come under constant attack by the present day Zulus…which I might add are not well liked by the black farm workers. Some think the Zulu attacks (yes this is the year 2023) are orchestrated by government grifters looking to add to their wealth without consideration for anyone (including the black workers on the farms).
Africans doing the Africa thing, you know, pulling everything back down to the normal African mean, i.e. pre-industrial primitivity. Let ’em rot. I feel for the remaining whites, but like the Jews in 1938 Germany, they should have gotten out by now.
