Shocking, I know: In a bold new paper, three academics criticize how #longCovid has been studied. They say the term itself is so ill defined it should be discarded and that the studies have often been riddled with bias.
This is one of the most stunning examples, if not the most egregious example, of someone with a doctorate exaggerating the threat of #longCovid and sowing fear and panic.

Here’s an idea … “long COVID” … is an opportunity for many grifters to get over on their employer. Esp. employers with deep pockets and soft policies toward grifters. Get on long term disability unemployment, then go get another job working under the table. Never let a crisis go to waste … Right?
Nobody in the government will hire Private Investigators who will photograph you on the Pickleball Court …
Great idea!
I mean, the PTSD shtick must be just about ready for the “sore back” dustbin, eh?

I discarded it the first time I heard it, immediately. It should be called what it is, an adverse event from injection.
I don’t think it’s ‘long Covid‘ that some people are suffering from … it think it’s more likely ‘Long Vaccine Injury‘ that is the issue.
In most cases, probably.
In my case, I had a mild case of Omicron, sans jabs, but I’ve had an ongoing issue with my speaking voice since. Irritating to be sure, but certainly not more than that. It’s been over a year and a half, and it hasn’t gone away.
Nebulized hydrogen peroxide (3% food grade, with appropriate dilution below 3% if you’re sensitive) and xylitol/saline nasal rinses may help.
Leonardi is a bit of a crackpot it seems. Some of his posts are beyond idiotic.
“LONG COVID”
Definition: The detrimental health impacts upon the human immune system when exposed to experimental COVID vaccines created to defer the detrimental health impacts upon the human immune system when exposed to a virus created by the same people who create Covid vaccines.
clear?
My allergies are worse than Omicron.
I wish, I wish, I wish if only… all I had to deal with was Omicron every 6 months or so. I think I’d be better off.
Sadly, unjabbed as I am, I get my vitamin D, zinc, and a zinc ionophore and I have had no luck at all in catching the FauXi Flu.
Reminds me of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia from the 1990s and early 2000s when everyone seemed to come down with those. But it turns out that the only people who contracted them were those with bitching good employer funded health care programs with good short term or long term disability programs. Which, surprise, surprise, surprise, were mainly public employees. I remember talking to one person who was explaining her fibromyalgia symptoms and she indicated that if she pressed really hard on some part of her body it hurt. I suggested that she could solve it by not pressing really hard on that part of her body. She hasn’t spoken to me since. No great loss!
Fibromyalgia is rampant amongst overweight, post menopausal women who don’t exercise. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rates of this alleged disease is highest with teachers, nurses and government clerks.
So is being alone at home with multiple cats.
Long stupidity is the major problem.
Where’s the peer review? I can produce 100 studies that refute this……
Killer Marmot…
There is a cure for long COVID.
It’s called MAiD.
Cooking the books for the greater good.. That is what they were told to do.. Hypochondriac powers activate!.. Form of a grifter :)..
As far as I’m concerned, there is no long covid, short covid or anything in between covid. I’m 66, never vaxxed, not especially healthy, not careful about whomever I’m exposed to, and take no precautions whatsoever. Yet I’ve never been sickened by this mythical virus. I’ve had my share of colds and flus over my lifetime, but no covid.
If it wasn’t for the controlled media, Jesuit Anthony Fauci, and liars in gov’t like Jesuit Jason Kenney (and Killer Marmot) I would still not even know the Coronahoax was a thing.
Though I do know my neighbor died almost immediately after taking the vaccine.
Not jabbed, and won’t be, ever.
I had covid 2 years ago Oct. … was in an Edmonton hospital for 8 days needing some breathing help.
It wasn’t a + nose swab test which led me to know I had this infection, and to say it’s real.
However, since then I haven’t had the normal physical signs of a debilitating disease. Not at all.
My strength returned shortly after, like from having a flu for a solid 2 weeks and then recovering, my mind seems to function just fine, or at least when permitted to by the gov’t of the day.
My sense of smell and taste seem shattered and broken though. I can smell stale cigarette smoke most days, and taste food maybe at 10% of what I could, except for oranges, which taste outstanding and perfect to this day. I wash my nose out multiple times each day, take the normal vitamins everyone takes post covid… nothing really helps the smells returns though.
So I think “long covid” is real, but just like everything these days, there are some who take that bit of reality and run with it… their lives unable to return to what they thought was “normal” just a few years ago. While some of us can barely smell bbq type smells, and this year’s peach season was a true bust. Possibly my favorite taste, and the peaches taste like Wonder Bread to me in 2023.
The people who say they “suffer” long covid, I don’t know what to make of that. Do they mean they are unable to function?
To what extent?
Perhaps it is closer to “long gov’t funding”?
Some folks are making a living from “long covid” … while some others are making a living (or not!) from long vax.
I’d be much more worried from “long vax” or “long jab” as that seems much more problematic with the data showing “long death” being a thing too.
I’d get a handicapped parking pass out of the deal if I could, but I know some folks who actually do use handicapped parking passes, long covid probs doesn’t make the grade there yet, unless it’s gov’t work we’re talking about.
lest we forget, covid is merely rebranded 100,000 years of corona. I remind my family and friends about this regularly, most/all simply stare back blankly while their brain erases what I just said and reverts back to the corporate message.
