    1. Since Ukrainians aren’t German, and the national socialist German workers party stopped selling membership cards 78 years ago, it stand to reason that Ukraine doesn’t have any Nazis.

        1. Nazis are, however, specifically German national socialists, and their ideology commits them to the extermination of the Ukrainian nation. So yes, Ukrainians can be Nazis, but they have to be suicidal to do it. At the very least, it’s harder for them than it is for the rest of us.

          1. “Nazis are, however, specifically German national socialists, and their ideology commits them to the extermination of the Ukrainian nation.”

            Why?

          2. Because Hitler wrote that in the original specifications for the party. Check the member’s manual that came with your party card.

    1. You can count on the liberal sheep, when faced like an example like Musk or Brand where leaving the plantation results in a mountain of stories talking about how awful they are, to never come up with the question “”If this is such a bad guy who has such a bad history, why are you just telling me about it now?”

  2. John Ivison: A sober David Dodge informs the Liberals their fiscal bender is finished
    https://archive.ph/v1asO#selection-1947.1-1947.87

… He made special mention of Canada’s low capital investment and productivity, “a long-standing problem” that has gotten worse since 2015, with the fall-off in investment by the oil and gas industry, which is in part a result of regulatory uncertainty.

“In aggregate, we are doing really poorly,” he said. “Unless we can get the output per worker or output per unit of invested capital up, then we have a problem.”

Despite his efforts at diplomacy, Dodge is clearly still smarting from comments made by Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland in 2020, when she rejected the idea that inflation was a bigger potential problem than prices falling and the possibility that interest rates might rise sharply. At the time, she said she knew the debt crisis of the mid-1990s had scarred the generation who fought it (Dodge was deputy minister of finance at the time) but that it would be a “poor general who fought the last war” over again. “Doing too little is more dangerous and potentially more costly than doing too much,” she said, as she prepared to deliver budgets that added hundreds of billions of dollars to the national debt…

    1. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Such ignorant people should not be in positions of authority. So if it is such trouble to drive to a citizenship ceremony, they can use a phone. I don’t agree with this either, as it trivializes citizenship, but a computer click us beyond the pale. Clearly Liberals do not value Canada’s nationhood.

  3. Home-sharing platform aims to help refugees and asylum seekers invade in Toronto

… The non-profit Happipad, which operates in cities across the country, opened up its Refugee Housing Canada program in the Toronto area last month after initially launching it in Metro Vancouver. The platform has begun accepting applications from potential hosts, who will eventually be matched with refugees from Happipad’s partner organization in Toronto, FCJ Refugee Centre.

The initiative comes as the City of Toronto seeks help to support the roughly 3,500 refugee claimants in its shelter system and after some people were forced to sleep on the streets this summer…

  4. “Zelenski signed a law allowing prison sentences to be substituted by probation for many types of crime.

In particular, imprisonment will be avoided for crimes such as intentional bodily harm, domestic violence, transmission of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), exploitation of children, forced sexual intercourse, public calls to commit terrorist acts. There are a total of 29 crimes that are listed.

The convicted person under probation supervision is obliged to register at the place of registration, to notify the Ministry of Internal Affairs of any change of residence and not to leave Ukraine. In some cases, an electronic bracelet may be attached.

Zelensky has come up with an interesting plan: to put a bracelet on prisoners and send them to the battlefield.”

  5. Just now: the Bong is apologizing to everybody for the Friday SS-cheerleading fiasco. Our federal government is on top of things, as usual. Now as this 8s written, Trudeau is at Question Period standing up for Canada. /sarc.
