1) Fix the potholes
2) Put the bad guys in jail
3) Secure the borders
4) Make sure the lights come on when you flip the switch
5) Clear the roads in Winter
People are mostly OK with being taxed so government can do those things. Anything else… not so much.
I predict that in the future “Eat the Rich” will take on a whole new meaning. Especially if they are vegans. Mmmm grass fed Marxists.
