  1. I thought it was obvious …the one on the left with a surgical mask. The rest are going to build our houses for us.
Y’know…”skilled trade shortage” yada yada yada.

  2. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you…..

Canada under the control of the Liberal Party.

    Diversity.

    It’s our strength.

    1. lots of “refugees” that travel to many safe countries before ending up in sucker countries like Canada.

These ones seem to have stayed here, unlike certain other refugees, who returned to the home country, and expect canada to pick up the bill when something goes wrong there.

    2. Israel is deporting them to Europe then iggity-jig somewhere hereabouts.

I’m sure our hyper-progressive council will send in the social workers and the city supported bail bondsmen even while opening the door to more.

Table legs 2×4 and rocks in the NE, gang owned homeless encampments in the river valley. Violence and rape on the rolling crack dens we call transit.

      We’re doing swell.

      1. That’s because Poles integrate and Polish immigration of the past waves did not come for free shit. One of the biggest waves was after they have liberated a good portion of your ancestors who mainly did nothing before that…

        1. The first person in my family’s linage arrived in Halifax in 1917.
The instructions she had were to take the train to Swift Current, SK and get off the train there and there will be a man waiting for you who will marry with you. She had $10 in her pocket.
Anna had 11 kids in a 20×20 house on 160 acres, the first kid in 1918, twins in 1919… and a knack for hard work on the farm

I did see the photos of some of her siblings, one was in the Polish cavalry and lived through The Great War, (I have the photo of him on a military horse) he arrived a short while later in the Speedy Creek area. I don’t know what the odds were of surviving WW1 in the Polish cavalry, I suspect he is viewed as a lotto winner.

To the best of my knowledge none of the family ended up in the big house, nor joined in club swinging events at a city park, nor had any major scandals such as joining the Liberal Party of Canada, for example.

Probably much higher than in the trenches. Not sure what you mean by “Polish cavalry”, I suspect a unit of ethnic Poles either in German or Austro Hungarian or Russian forces, probably deployed to the Eastern Front. There cavalry was used primarily as a scouting and screening force, to exploit breakthroughs and on more mundane duties like liaison, message dispatch, patrolling etc. This is not to say their life was easy, but rather that they tended to be viewed more as valuable professionals and less as cannon fodder. Either way you ancestor was a hero and a professional worrier. You should be proud. Did he end up fighting orcs in 1920 too?

          2. I tend to think people on horses are larger targets than people not on horses, and so assume the chances are less great.
Think he came to Canada the year after WW1 ended, in 1918 ish… They were from an area near to Krakow in the SW area of Poland. All I know is that he was in the “Polish Cavalry” and the photo I have of him is on a horse, and not knowing even his rank then.

          3. Krakow (Crakow) was under Austro Hungarian partition until Polish independence after WWI. Some of first regular Polish units that formed with Poland regaining her independence formed there in the last days of the AH Empire. Either way cavalry were very much elite and professional.

Interestingly enough, even during WWII, both Germans and soviets deployed cavalry divisions to Eastern Front.

  3. I have not heard of any arrests.
So…..assault, assault with intent, assault with a weapon, etc.
No arrests, no bank accounts frozen.
But at least there was no “mischief.” Or bouncy castles. Or people singing “O Canada.” Or even (shudder) people of all ethnic groups embracing and waving Canadian flags.
That sort of thing would land them in shackles alongside Tamara.

    1. It is an Eritrean thing. It won’t affect you. Just like the Sikh /Indian feud never affected anyone in Canada.

      Until it did.

  4. Nice uniforms. Did anyone get a look at the scoreboard? Whose team is ahead?

Looks like they are getting a pep talk from the coach before coming out for the second half. “Now go out there and clean house like the Hanson brothers! I wanna see lots of high sticking. Go! Go! Go!”

Who has the goat kabob concession? That sucker has gotta be making a bundle. I know I’m always hungry after a good riot.

    Where is the ESPN truck?

  5. The People’s Front for Democracy and Justice or PFDJ (People’s Front for a Democratic Judea?) is the only political party and likes to beat up the people of Tigray. There are two main groups, apparently, Tigre and Tigrinya. I have no idea who are which, I expect linguistic and religious differences – they should stay home and settle this like civilized gentleman.

Has anyone more clarity? Eritrea rebelled from Ethiopia around 30 years ago I believe. If they stopped misbehaving, their own counry may be less of a shithole.
