  1. Mmmagic Mushhhrooms make meals a mystery!
Did it come w a side order of dog and a bowl of bat soup?

  2. No surprise from that old hippie hag. Magic mushrooms is what her husband ingests soon after she utters “Hey sailor! I’m thinkin’ it’s a bull market tonight.. catch my drift?”

  3. Good Lord! Our enemies POISON a Cabinet Secretary … and we’re LAUGHING about it? In the past, such a thing would spark a War.

    1. There’s a woman in Victoria here who allegedly recently poisoned four people by giving them a meal laden with death cap mushrooms that she and her family did not eat themselves, killing three of her diners! She has yet to be charged, though; Vicpol may be waiting for a coronial determination.

The Chinese are being really cruel to the U.S. by letting Yelland live.

    2. I could care less if the average person wants to get messed up in a private setting. I’ve done more than my share…

Chinese drugging the treasury secretary with a hallucinogen that has brainwashing potential is a whole nother thing.

      Probably not the first time.
I wonder who from the slick willy administration ate the Chinese stew before we handed over a bunch of missle technology.

  4. I feel like I watched a very different video from that of the original Twitter poster. The mushrooms were clearly cooked to deactivate the hallucinogenic properties and she experienced no effects. Not a great look for national television, but hardly evidence that she was high while working. If this was a satirical post, I would have no problem with it, but suggesting she hallucinated when she says she did not requires additional evidence.

    1. Cooking does not deactivate.
Might break down a little but they’ll still get you high.
Best way to eat fresh shrooms is breaded and deep fried.

  5. Cooking the mm’s probably destroys the hallucinogenic properties of them.

They used to grow wild on every lawn in Vancouver and suburbs and on Vancouver Island. It seemed like half the population was eating them at least to try them out in the late ’60’s. They aren’t very powerful and you’d have to eat a lot of them to really get stoned enough to hallucinate.

I had to fire a tree planter from my Forestry crew working in Port Hardy as the clearcut we were planting was loaded with the ‘shrooms. I told him he could pick ’em if he liked but NOT eat them on the job.

After about a week I found him sitting on a stump spaced out and duly fired him. He didn’t seem to care. North Van Isle at that time had several camps of hippies living in abandoned logging towns and the old coastal watch stations, so I guess he just went back to whichever one he lived in, stoned and happy , but with a few bucks in his pocket.

Yellen might be better off if she did do some hallucinogens, might expand her mind. Maybe she could take a few pounds to Hunter and Joe too.
