  1. “For these arguments, Freeland won awards and was launched to the top of the Liberal party recruitment list. If Poilievre were to recite passages from the deputy prime minister’s book, he’d be accused of spreading misinformation. The Marxist worldview that has embedded itself so deeply in universities and newsrooms that are left wing by default is inherently conspiratorial, but progressives only recognize that when it comes from someone on the right.”

Polievre should do exactly that, quote Freeland’s book in speeches then embarrass both the media and the Liberals when they start spouting this conspiracy theory bullshit.

Schwab hosts a convention of like minded people, and they are all about control, of everything. There’s no theory about that, they state it quite openly. I’d love to attend the WEF conference and listen to the rich, powerful and beautiful people expound on how to enthrall the world.

But I can barely afford groceries and gas these inflationary days, so spending about $15,000 to attend Davos is outta my reach.

  2. How does Jagmeet square supporting the WEF Liberals?
Are the unionistas onboard with globalization, the newpaper workers, the bus drivers, anyone paying dues, supporting the NDP-Lib alliance?

    1. The NDP hasn’t been the party of the working stiff for a long time. It’s now exclusively the party of the silver spoon socialists, the enviro-facists, and the globalists.

  3. I read 4 comments, and RELIGION comes to mind, butt I’ll wait for jamie McBates to come and MASTER his BS!

  4. It seems clear enough that Poilievre is nodding to supporters who believe the unsubstantiated, unproven and plain bonkers notion that the WEF is directly controlling the Canadian government. But nowhere has Poilievre or the party actually endorsed the conspiracy theory of a secret global cabal.

Note the exact wording, “plain bonkers”, that is a very emotion laden choice of words, as is “conspiracy theory”. One could provide evidence for it, but none is forthcoming, instead, jut emotion laden words to try and convince you, “without evidence”, that nothing could be further from the truth, and you would be crazy, literally, to think it true. This is strong evidence that they are covering up something that is, in fact, true.

Slapping a label of “conspiracy theory” on something neither proves it true or false, but is an attempt to make you automatically dismiss it without having to prove anything to you and discouraging you from even attempting to do so last you be accused of being crazy. When I see that label being applied, I now automatically suspect that whatever they are attempting to dissuade me from believing is likely true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubIpoPjBUds

And a digital ID? Such a thing would allow any government absolute power. Power to control any dissent, of any kind. Power to starve to death anyone they don’t like, silently. Such power would be far too tempting for anyone to have, much less some minor government functionary who could do it at the touch of a button. You know, like cancel culture, where it is even now seen actually happening. Such as where a social media company banns you and never tells you why, quite possibly because the supervisor has no idea why, some underling doing it on a whim. Alternately, they could have been pressured or even ordered to do it by the government, as has been shown to also be happening right now. You will, of course, be labeled a “conspiracy theorist”, IE crazy, if you repeat this now well substantiated fact.

Imagine a minor government functionary, who wants to cover up their latest boo boo (which may effect millions) with the power to just make it all go away and get rid of those annoying gnats at the touch of a button. Imagine thousands, or millions, of such minor dictators, each with literally the power of life or death. Heady. The chance that at least one of them will use it is, basically, 100%. Too much temptation presented to too many. And they may start using it on each other, causing the most ruthless to rise to the top.

Example, floods in Peking. Haven’t heard of the Massive floods? Few people in China even know, because there is a coverup so extreme we see scenes of policemen erecting screens to block view on one bridge that the next bridge upstream has fallen down, in downtown Peking, rather than, I dunno, actually gong out and helping anyone, while cars float down the river. And why do they do this? Further, if there were suitable omens such as floods and droughts and the ruler was proving less capable of fulfilling his mandate (the “mandate of heaven”) than he ought to have been, then Mencius considered it legitimate for the people, if not actually to overthrow their ruler and find a new one, then at least to show their disapproval through rebellion and protest. https://www.worldhistory.org/Mandate_of_Heaven/ Imagine, millions of minor functionaries ordered to cover this up, and equipped with a button which will make it all go away.

  5. I suppose technically if you just do what somebody suggests, without them being present to direct all your actions, then they are not “in control” but what’s the difference? Our government has voluntarily surrendered sovereignty to the international elites. This is not bonkers, it’s a factual situation that anyone can easily see. The problem is, a lot of people don’t mind. It’s only a problem for those of us who do mind. And we mind not just on principle, but also out of concern for the future stability of our social order. It cannot endure endless experimentation by radical socialists. The wonder is that we are not already in a complete chaos but I suspect that is very close now.

  6. To be more specific about Poilievre, I don’t trust his opposition to the WEF or globalism, even if he is sincere, because his political masters will only permit minor backtracking at most, and if he were to go “full Max Bernier” he would be removed. So we might as well support Max Bernier who will not be removed.

I see no real evidence of fundamental change of opinion in the back rooms of the CPC or in the moneyed interests who support that party. They just want to capitalize on what they know is growing public distrust of the WEF agenda. They themselves do not share the distrust. They are simply out to hijack PPC votes. It’s the same old game. I don’t know if PP is going along in full knowledge or if he is naive enough to think he can prevail. I don’t think he would be allowed to do much more than stall or water down, and we need much more than that.

  7. The article quotes Ms Freeland at length, but fails to mention that she is featured on the WEF website and apparently holds fairly high rank in that organization. What a difference a few years make.

  8. Now do the UN. Largest child trafficking ring in the world. Run by China and Russia. Canada is a devoted vassal because Hitler or Muslims or something.
