1. I was under the impression that contracts which ran afoul of the law are null and void. Of course i used to be under the impression that Canada was a nation of laws and had courts to decide such things, only to discover that Canada’s courts are a Librano joke, just like the country.

   1. Although I agree this gov’t is a joke, their “laws” are a joke, their integrity is a joke; however, we need to stop laughing at them. They intend to do us real harm. They would like to see most of us dead or enslaved. For them, it is not a joke.

2. To borrow from the MAGA idea we need to make Canada POGG (Peace Order and Good Government) again. It’s not just Sophie that needs separation from the worst Prime Minister in our country’s history, it’s the whole country.

   1. CanSco – you are SOOOO wrong with your POGG worship! Government, while not quite an “evil”, is a necessary impediment and can never be “good” – it’s ALWAYS a trade-off. The American founders knew this. And many Americans know this still. Many foolish Canadians still do not. In addition, “Peace” and “Order” will – obviously – be interpreted as permission for various levels of government and (even worse) the modern, largely unaccountable technobureaucracy, to obstruct, oppress, regulate, monitor and surveil even more than they are now doing (you DO remember Covid, right?)

      1. l completed a university course on the history of american presidents. surprised and delighted when the prof emphasized the founding fathers recognized unfettered democracy meant the swirling ignorant masses subject to and vulnerable to popularity contests, manipulation and propaganda were not to be trusted, and was a major factor in the establishment of the 250 year old 3 sections of government: legislative executive, judicial.
         alas, it did not encompass above the 49th, so we’re schtuck wiff a cystem plops veritable authoritarian monarchy-like powers onto the annointed ‘right honorable’ making decisions on a whim, supreme court judgey judges childhood friend kind of thing.

         1. And yet the enlightenment of the founders has been trashed thoroughly over the last 250 years as the US has become a bankrupt and corrupt empire in late stage democratic decline.

3. Shoot. If I had known this was allowed I would have written up a separation agreement exempting me from paying income tax.
