  1. Well, not that the feds should be funding schools anyway…

Remember, the first few hits of meth are ALWAYS free.

  2. Those schools are probably pretty happy about that. Federal money comes with big strings attached.

  3. I remember when this was an intolerable act….like when the funds were withheld from urban cities flaunting their refusal to uphold immigration law. The only difference being that hunting course are NOT illegal (AND they promote safety, so a benefit for the community).

Interestingly, this brings up something curious. If the Federal government can pull funds if they don’t like specific parts of the curriculum. Then a precedent has been set to pull federal funds from any district promoting CRT and the like should the Dept of Ed eventually be run by someone with half a brain, and 1/32 of a soul.

The left never considers the consequences of their acts.

  4. They will do to guns what they did to smoking: erase it from American life. After a while, no one will care what happens to gun makers or owners the same as no one cares about the tobacco companies or smokers. Progs play the long game. R’s play stupid.

    1. Hey Jamaica, the government here in the formerly Great White North is forcing the cigarette makers to print warnings on each and every cigarette in the package. Of course that will not apply to the illegal ones from the Indigenous Reserves. No “decorations” on the packages either.
You are probably unaware that our government has forced the convenience stores to cover their cigarette displays as well. The workers have to open the doors to display the product when someone asks for a pack of smokes.
I’m sure glad that my government has my best interests in mind!! (Rotten Bastards!)

    2. Actually, I think the “progressives” are near the end stretch of their “long game”.

But it’s not working out quite the way they anticipated. “Global governance” is a failure; Russia, China and India aren’t playing that part of the game. Instead – shock and horror! – they’re putting their own boring old national interests first (gosh, who’d have thought it?!). No global kumbaya, no “global action” on a host of vainglorious issues i.e., “climate change”. A quite different real world is unfolding, beyond the grasp of our current gang of politicos, whose notions now seem outdated and pretty dotty.

I think we are arriving at a place where the current political mindset is about to hit the rocks.

  5. This is why home schoolers are always told to not take a dime of government funding…
    It let’s them dictate curriculum.

  6. There was a pistol range in our high school. For training leading up to wars. But since wars and violence have ended, this is no longer necessary.
