There’s no pleasing the Bloc, except to break up the country. But they had some interesting things to say about the Natural Resources Committee’s “just transition” report.
Also, on the longest day of the year, Saskatchewan’s grid scale solar averaged just 26.7 per cent capacity. But that’s okay. Texas knows what they’re doing. They built all sorts of solar and wind power. How’s that working out for them with a heat wave?
And with NATO arming Ukraine to fight a war with Russia before Russia crosses Ukraine and takes on NATO, the top dogs at NATO still have time to fight climate change. Shouldn’t they be more concerned about the Ruskies?
One more thing, folks. Facebook will start blocking media, including Pipeline Online, on Sunday. Say what you want about Facebook, but this is a huge issue. Social media is crucial to the business plans of all news media, mine included. Thanks for all the support from SDA, because it means a lot. This is going to be a tough row to hoe. And glib comments about Facebook not mattering simply aren’t true. It matters to people like me. Where else can you find 3 billion people to tick off?
Well then, the Bloc Québécois can just transition themselves the f outta Canada. They can take Justine Trudy with them and urban Ontario while there at it.
F them
Politics is such a joke
The blockheads need to die.
“Where else can you find 3 billion people to tick off?”
Imagine what’s happening at the Toronto Star this week. Stay off the sidewalks outside the Star HQ, they may be practicing their sky diving.
It isn’t a mistake, by the way. This is a technique used by communists all over the world. They simply change regulations randomly, all the time, until there are no businesses left that don’t get -all- their money from government. Then they keep doing it, just to let you know that they can. (That’s why everything in Russia is a criminal syndicate. Why stop at breaking one regulation when you can break -all- of them?)
This is Shiny Pony putting you out of business on purpose, Brian. Did you think they were going to be honorable and allow debate on their policies like they’re supposed to? Not a chance. I’m not going to be shocked when I have to access SDA at an off-shore address through a VPN, just like a Hong Konger.
Pretty soon you’re going to see the cops cracking down on guys plastering leaflets on telephone poles, and I’m not really kidding about that.
Tip for all you leaflet types, you plaster it on any metal or concrete surface with condensed milk. When that stuff dries it’s invincible.
You can’t attribute the power outages in the southern US to wind and solar penetration when the problem seems to be storm damage to distribution infrastructure. If you had nukes or CCGTs feeding the grid the A/C would still be out if the local distribution lines are down.
The Bloc and Quebec can transition to electric cars now.
And Quebec farmers can stop using propane.
Re: “There’s no pleasing the Bloc, except to break up the country.”
The best thing that could happen to this country which right now is completely dysfunctional.
Twitter!
Free Speech (mostly).
Embrace it!
Fakebook is a hellhole, and the WEFLiberals hate everything between the Morontariowe suburbs and Wangcouver suburbs.
