      And I have a funny Trump story. I was in the “burn it all down” camp and really didn’t follow the election at all in ’16. It was clear Trump was going to win and I couldn’t stand listening to him, but over broken glass I would crawl to vote against Hillary.

      I was standing on the lawn at the inaugural (nice and close) and 5m into him talking I turned to the person next to me and asked– had he been saying these things the entire time?

So we have the Dutch government telling the most productive agricultural producers in Europe that they must sacrifice 3,000 farms in Holland and the Irish government telling the Irish dairy producers that they must reduce the Irish dairy herd by 200,000 cows, and on top of that we have governments administering carbon taxes to force us into net neutrality which only increases our food costs, so someone tell me when you have all reached the “Let them eat cake!” point because I passed that point about ten years ago. We have allowed ourselves to become totally subjugated by electing idiots who are hell bent on using our compassion to destroy the most successful society that mankind has ever developed and as we descend back into the primeval ooze with a whimper and a whine we’ll look back and realize that we could have stopped it if we had possessed the resolve to punish the liars, cheats and thieves that have inflicted their ideas on us. It was not enough that they lied about the injections, globull warming, secure elections, immigration, law and order, and the rest now they want to try and engineer a global famine and annihilate those of us that have withstood their lies.

        What I don’t see from Donald Trump is any attempt whatsoever to assure the US voters that he will deal with any of this once reelected. Or, for that matter, any attempt to explain how he thinks he can get reelected *at all* without having dealt with the previous Democratic election fraud…they got away with it once (or twice), sk what exactly will stop them from doing it again?

    2. JR, As always a great post. With regard to Gore and Kerry and their ilk, when you become super wealthy, you develop a different perspective, and begin to regard the peasants as ugly unpleasant useless eaters.
      Indeed, why should they even consider allowing those peasants to use scarce planetary resources that they and their progeny will require in the future. Better perhaps to simply reduce the planets population dramatically, to avoid using those resources. Somehow I kind of doubt that they will quit eating prime rib, once they have forced the rest of us to dine on bugs. While we will walk or must use public transportation, they will still be using private planes to jet around the planet. Why? Well because they are important, and we, of course, are not. Perspective indeed. I’ll still vote for public execution, followed by trials when or if, we can find the time! I also suggest we start with the WEF plus Gore and Kerry.

  7. Consider the latest proposal for a US national park: “Driftless Rivers” which would cover parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois.

    It would cover rivers from Rochester MN, Madison WI, down through Iowa/Illinois bluff territory. Already Minnesota farms whose runoff goes into the Mississippi are under pressure to reduce nitrogen “pollution”. This could intensify the pressure to reduce “nitrogen pollution” and extend the areas impacted.
    It is strange to create a national park because of what the region lacks – “glacial geological features” – which make it more like LARGE parts of the US that aren’t protected according to supporters.

    But what the area lacks (glacial impact) is exactly why it is among the richest farmland in the US – soil scoured by the glaciers from the north was deposited here. Maybe I am paranoid, but when I compare to what happened to farmers in the Low Countries of Europe, I recognize a pattern.

    Eliminating beef and cutting the worldwide food supply makes the following groups feel a thrill up their third leg:

    – Animal Rights extremists

    – Extreme “environmentalists” who believe in depopulation
    – The Gays who want to eliminate breeders
    – “Climate” frauds who believe ruining agriculture will “save the planet”
    – Real Estate Developers who will happily build immigrant housing (taxpayer funded) on farmland
    – Fake meat fabricators and purveyors
    – Voters who believe government will save people from their own “ignorance”

  9. On the surface…climate crisis…but, in truth, it is a control mechanism. The strategy appears to be to funnel down food production to those countries most easily influenced. There was a post here most recently trying to decipher why Romania would pad Biden’s pockets. What could they possibly use to justify that action? Well, Romania is an agri-economy based country. In short, you shut down those countries that produce food and have more of an autonomy and build up those countries in which a foothold is already acquired. Additionally, there is a competition amongst those simp economies that provide the added bonus to the elitists of “pay to play.”

    And, it’s not just agriculture in which this is applied. The oil business is a similar target with a similar strategy. And, in the US, that one is more apparent. The federal government disallows drilling through executive fiat. Then, sells off reserves to foreign nations (inclusive of sworn enemies like China). At the same time, mega-conglomerates are buying up grazing and farm land at an unprecedented level. In most other countries they can almost mandate the stifling of food production. In the US, the approach is more subtle. It has to be.

    1. My thinking is similar but goes like this…
      1. Orchestrate food shortages by forcing reduced production.
      2. Attribute the resulting food shortages and inflation to climate change.
      3. Attribute the resulting starvation by those adversely affected to reduced agricultural output because of climate change.
      4. Insist that the only solution to their orchestrated crisis is to open borders to all the “climate refugees”; and countries will be forced to allow mass immigration regardless of whether their citizens want it.

      The MSM has been indoctrinating the public for a decade that all this is going to happen because of climate change. It isn’t happening, but curtailing food production will kick-start the process.
