As Trudeau travels the globe spreading inclusion and blackface: Erin O’Toole met with David Johnston for his Report

To set the scene, Mr. Johnston did not reach out to the Conservative Party, my office, or Pierre Poilievre’s office until the final week of his initial assignment. He waited until the very end to meet with the current and former leaders of the Party that had been the central target of the foreign interference he was charged with investigating. If I am to believe media reports, Johnston interviewed the Bloc Quebecois leader about events alleged to have taken place in British Columbia and Ontario – where Mr. Blanchet ran no candidates – before he finally got around to me or the present Conservative Leader. This makes no sense.

I was still waiting to receive a CSIS briefing on foreign interference that had been promised the week before when my office was called by the Johnston team and told we only had two days to make the meeting work. I asked to meet with him following my meeting with CSIS (which I am still waiting to receive) but was told that this was not possible. I confirmed with Pierre that his office received a request to meet on the same day that I was. He declined the meeting and somehow that information was leaked to the media within hours. […]

Given the pressed timeline, we were literally putting the binders together as Mr. Johnston arrived at my office with his counsel. With this in mind, you might understand how disappointed I was to learn halfway through my meeting that Johnston’s report was already undergoing French translation. I was flabbergasted and realized that nothing I was going to provide to the Special Rapporteur was going to impact his work.

  1. You’d have to be incredibly naive to think that this Special Rapporteur scheme is not a whitewash or a stitch-up to assist the ethically challenged Trudeau Liberal-NDP government. The former GG Johnston, longtime family friend, neighbor and Trudeau charity associate, will certainly reccomend something to save his own reputation from what is such an obvious conflict of interest disgrace.

    Like everyone else not on the payroll of Team Trudeau, I doubt whatever Johnston recommends will result in an honest attempt to get at the truth about Chinese government interference in Canadian elections. The Gomery Inquiry was a disaster for Liberals and any attempt at transparency and accountability will result in a similar mob of skeletons falling out of the Trudeau PMO’s closet.

    How much longer will southern Ontario and the maritime provinces keep the corrupt Liberal-NDP government in power? How long will Alberta and Saskatchewan put up with a corrupt and hostile federal government that seeks to destroy our economy and impoverish our people, directed by foreign organizations and foreign governments?

    1. Why did Harper appoint a Trudeau Crime Family flunky to be GG?

      I now Harper’s Ministry as an intentional stop-gap until Junior could take over the family business. He did many things, (or in the case of Senate appointments, did NOT do things), that served Trudeau Party interests.

      Harper was a Trudeau stooge, just like his other Alberta counterpart, Joe Clark, who served up Trudeau Senior’s greatest victory, and enabled Trudeau’s most important legacies, the Trudeau Fake Constitution and the Trudeau Get-Alberta Energy “Plan”.

      I’m sure they’re Clark and Harper, both loser PMs and Trudeau Crime Family lickspittles, are enjoying their generous government pensions in a comfortable, worry-free retirement.

      2. On the subject of Alberta stooges to the eastern elites, also worthy of note is King Peter, aka Peter Lougheed, PC Premier of Alberta from 1971 to 1985.

        Lougheed was a Power Corp. protege, and was cultivated by the Laurentian Establishment to wrest control of the province from the predominantly rural and anti-eastern-power-elite Social Credit party.

        Lougheed’s lasting legacy was savouring expensive French champagne with his friend, Trudeau Energy Minister Marc Lalonde, as they toasted the capitulation of the Alberta oil business and the triumph of the Trudeau National Energy Plan, that stole money from Alberta to enrich the eastern corporate establishment.

    2. Remember who votes for the Liberals and why. Southern Ontario is where most of the federal bureaucracy lives. They are in the tank for the Liberals permanently. The maritime provinces depend on Ottawa to provide them with net cash via federal-provincial transfers. Since the maritime provinces also want more federal government spending, they are in the tank for the Liberals as well.

      Of course Johnston was a whitewash. No one would have expected anything different from Justatwit. Of course his report recommended no public inquiry. There was never anything else possible here. But it’s good to have confirmation that everyone connected to Justatwit is completely and thoroughly corrupt.

        1. Federal bureaucrats vote what’s in their self interest. Hence, the lopsided results in parts of Ontario. It’s why a number of ridings in Canada, Ottawa region, parts of Toronto and all of Montreal, are rotten boroughs. Maritimers vote their economic self interest by voting for government that gives them more handout. I’m puzzled as to why you don’t understand this.

          As for the destruction of Alberta/Saskatchewan economies, that’s not new. The Liberals have been pursuing a hostile-to-the-West policy since the early 1970s. The original legislative version of this was the National Energy Program. The Liberals’ permanent election strategy for at least four decades has been to stimulate a war between Western Canada and everyone else. That’s what the f*ckers do.

      When Harper appointed Johnston G-G, I had no idea he was a good friend of the Trudeau family, but Harper MUST have known. This lends credence to the theory that it’s a Uniparty which acts in the best interests of the Laurentian Elite, and the real CEO of Canada is Power Corporation.

      I was mystified by Harper leaving 26 Senate seats vacant, now I have a good idea why. “It’s an exclusive club, and you’re not a member”. Yeah, I’m not.

Firearms expropriation is well under way. The emergency act can be used on the any flimsy excuse and the courts recluse themselves from ruling ,if not supporting it. And yet ,somehow , there is suprise from the so called opposition their concerns would be ignored. I likely have missed a few. Get your digital ID( Lockups,Mandates,beatings ect) And yet there is people who believe this “rapshit” is more than a smoke screen. The appetite for independence in Saskatchewan &Alberta is small. We are screwed.

      Alberta and Saskatchewan are already showing rebellion against the federal government. They won’t allow or enforce gun confiscation. Saskatchewan won’t get rid of fossil fuel generated electricity on Trudeau’s timeline. They are forming their own police forces. Saskatchewan has set up a crown corp for collecting their own taxes.

      I think we’ll see a continuation of the Saskatchewan First and Alberta Sovereignty plan…until Ottawa politics becomes irrelevant to us.
