Beheading is a good idea in this case, but in the short terms Catholics, Christians and anyone who cares about decency could boycott the Dodgers. These people are really sick.
I lived in the L.A. metro area for a few years in the early ’70s. I know things have changed, but back then, my buddies and I would occasionally cruise Hollywood Blvd just to gawk and laugh at all the freaks and weirdos. The weirdos knew most of the people were gawkers, but they loved the attention and put on the best show they could.
Yes, they were putting on a show and we’d go to watch the show. I suppose our strolls were just to affirm that “Yup. We really are normal.” There’s a reason they call it Hollyweird.
If this event were held in the ’70s, I’ll bet attendance would have been high, not because anyone supported the vulgarity, but just to see the show. There wouldn’t have been much approval. More like suppressed laughter. “Hey everybody. Did you see that?!? What a bunch of maroons! We can tell our grandkids that we were there.”
I don’t know about the LA of today, though. I have no clue how this will play out.
In the 1980’s I worked for a Development Co. that hired a number of young Mormon kids to build our projects out here in the wildly expensive (overpriced labor) SF Bay Area. I don’t see what the problem is with disrespecting Mohammed the same as Jesus here, everybody knows the Muslims are more tolerant of sexual deviancy than the Christofags are. In fact, they are much more open to diversity of opinions in all things.

I had a rather heated conversation with my gay brother-in-law about the vile behavior of drag queens and their disgusting parodies on what they think real women are. I stated –how would your side like it if women started performing at adult venues and made fun of feminine men-how would you like it if we made gay men look like hairy ugly men? I’m done with that movement and it’s hatred of women being tarted up as entertainment.
