Statements like are either made out of fear or indoctrinational reflex. He regrets what Google has done, plain and simple.
I would think that even the most casual observer of the tech industry would reply “rolmao” to the idea of google acting responsibly.
Any road will take you there, if you don’t know where you’re going.
He is literally worried that an advance Artificial General Intelligence could eventually “possibly eliminate humanity itself.”
Interesting how we believe AI would behave as human if given the power and the chance.
Elon Musk said it best, It’s not that AI would plan to eliminate humanity, it’s just that we would be in the way of it’s assigned task. An excavator doesn’t hate ants, it’s just that the anthill is in the way.

Can we define “Intelligence”?
And provide any evidence of the existence of said property?
Are humans intelligence?
Or are we defining Artificial Intelligence as the ability of a machine to closely mimic a man?
So closely that most men cannot tell the machine from a programmed human being?
While assuming that man is intelligent?
Ain’t “public Education” grand.?
However I expect even greater entertainment from those who treat as Gospel the idiocy they have programmed into their machines.
