Heh, is it any surprise that Bob Iger dodged the question with a non-answer? In any normal company, this CEO would be publicly crucified by the Chairman of the Board for such dismal earnings performance for so long. And let’s not forget, Disney Corporation owns ABC, ESPN, National Geographic, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment and Lucasfilm. So all of these are complicit in Disney’s groomer kingdom and part of the financial disaster which is Disney. And that’s a short list.
Want to make them hurt more? Boycott all of these businesses and their activities. That means don’t go see the latest Marvel action movie. Don’t watch sports on ESPN. Don’t subscribe to National Geographic.

Ward and Osumashi, I strongly agree with you both. The Marvel movies have been starting to stink up the movie theatres and home sales for some years now. Ricky Gervais had some very pungent remarks to make at the 2020 Golden Globes about the collapse of Hollywood and the making of movies people actually want to see. The shunning of Marvel movies is perhaps a sign that the public is regaining some sense of taste. What is certainly true is that the great old movies of the 50s to the 90s retain their public appeal. There is no woke substitute for Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hepburn or Henry Fonda. (Add your own favourites as you wish.)
As to their business activities, I too have never been a consumer or a subscriber to their stuff. National Geographic is truly remarkable for its complete collapse as a publication of any honesty over the past 2-3 decades. It would seem that Disneyfication truly is a loathsome, communicable disease. Walt would probably be happy that he is long dead and not around to see what these vandals have done to his name.
As an aside, my dad feels that way about the National Geographic magazine, too.
I think that last really good Marvel film was “The Winter Soldier”. They rewarded that excellence by giving some other chump the shield.

That was not his biggest issue with this call, LawTube is all over another statement of his equating Disney and Reedy Creek Improvement District. Reedy Creek is the local government for the Disney parks area but is supposed to be a municipal government separate from Disney, lots of shenanigans surround that whole story, but when he admitted that it is a part of Disney rather than an independent local government it raised serious questions about the issuance of tax free municipal bonds and the use of those funds for the benefit of Disney… and I am not a lawyer or expert on the details, but something was mentioned about all kinds of fraud that he unwittingly admitted to.
Backstory, Walt Disney applied to incorporate for a town he planned to build around Epcot, died after it was approved, Disney dropped those plans and made a small trailer park that they control who the residents are and call those the voters and thus control the local board members and…. it is a shit show he admitted to.

Why was Star Wars and the Indiana Jones films so popular from the 1970’s through the 2000’s? Because they were based on Saturday afternoon serials from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Their themes of good and evil were clearly drawn in black and white. Darth Vader in all black and a “transformative” helmet to cover his transition surgery gone bad … and everyone else NOT in black. Simple. Inspirational.

The danger to corporations is that the “Woke” Leftists despise the corporate/Capitalistic world. Destroying the corporate power-base is a bonus to the Woke. Corporate collapse allows room for their propaganda and control. In China, the CCP controls the entertainment and fantasy to include the “Party” beliefs and plans. The traditional thuggery is then only needed for the “hard” cases. It is so much more civilized. In the West, the corporations are compromised and destroyed to make the Party control centers out of the ruins. “Get Woke, Go Broke” is part of the method. Disney is a pretty good propaganda source, once the the traditional corporation men are disposed of.
The problem has been that the “narrative” does not allow for the development of an individualistic “Hero”. There is no “story” to tell. Propaganda has no place for the individual quest or life.
