Ontario’s NDP urged the government Tuesday to create community safety zones that would protect drag artists and LGBTQ communities from harassment and intimidation at their performances.
The bill would allow the attorney general to temporarily designate addresses – such as where a show is taking place – as community safety zones, and anti-LGBTQ harassment, intimidation and hate speech within 100 metres would be subject to a $25,000 fine.
I wish there were places where I’d be safe from having Dippers and Liberals around!

“Safety” is merely a euphemism for their real intent: to take away our right to protest and to silence opposition, because they know that they have a losing argument otherwise.
The only real threat to safety that I have seen thus far, and which has been demonstrated repeatedly, are coming from the trans people attacking those of us brave enough to stand up for the protection of our kids. We’ve seen an example of that once again at a gathering outside of the OCDSB headquarters ahead of their weekly trustee meeting Tuesday night.
These uni-parties are fully-fledged authoritarian fascists. Dissenting opinions are not allowed. They want to make sure that we understand that!

One visual seared into my memory during my 20 years in the navy occurred during a ‘FishPat’ in support of DFO.
