  1. I do hope the academics and students at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy:
    a) use public transit to get to their classes/lectures etc.
    b) never fly
    c) have their class and home heating set at 15C.

    1. I had set my thermostat to 14C. I can tell you I really enjoyed sleeping in my parka /s.

      1. Had our thermostats set to 10 C for the last three months here in northern SK. Seemed comfortable enough.

Of course we weren’t in the house and turned them up to 20 until the wood heat caught up on our return from Texas. Then back to 10.

24 C with wood heat seems about right. Wood heat is sustainable. We cut up windfalls. No live trees are harmed…

A four day drive home probably would have been a week using an EV. Or maybe longer. How long does it take to “fill-up” an EV if you are running the heater while you wait?

  2. Just Dropped In (To See How Sustainable My Sustainability Is)

Hat tip to The First Edition.

  3. Sustainable sustainability? Translation: It take a sustained flow of tax dollars to sustain my otherwise unsustainable existence.

BA grads are tired of “would you like fries with that?” and so need a more sustainable host to sustain their parasitic existence.

    1. Absolutely. The entire article was incomprehensible, feel-good blather including the mandatory tip of the hat to DEI. Fair warning to homeowners in the communities involved; your taxes are going up and your services are going down, again!

  4. My able ability to comprehend the comprehensiveness of this descriptive description……ahh f/i.
I’ll be listening to The The and Talk Talk today. Never liked Duran Duran.

  5. What if they threw a ‘save the planet’ event and nobody showed up?

Who has time for such crap when we are all busy trying survive what the ‘planet savers’ have done so far.

  6. An actual conservative provincial govt that was concerned about its citizens would label these guys hate groups and ban them from the province. Good God, the left has given us a template that works. Use it!
