Another conspiracy theory takes a win:
Health Canada has issued an advisory and asked distributors to recall masks sold with graphene or biographene in them over potential inhalation risks.
Graphene is comprised of a single layer of carbon atoms and is considered a nanomaterial, meaning it is made of tiny particles, and is reported to have “antiviral and antibacterial properties,” the advisory says.
Health Canada said it conducted a preliminary scientific assessment after becoming aware that masks containing graphene were being sold with COVID-19 health claims and used by adults and children in schools and daycares. Health Canada also believes they may have been distributed for use in health care settings.
The products affected are listed as “face masks labelled as containing graphene or biomass graphene,” the advisory states. Health Canada recommends that Canadians not use masks with the substance and to consult their health-care provider if they have used graphene face masks and have health concerns – such as new or unexplained shortness of breath, discomfort or difficulty breathing.
The specific mask model under review, #SNN200642, is the same model for which Health Canada received a complaint from a concerned citizen raising a question about the potential health risks.
The organization said that their preliminary assessment of available research found that inhaled graphene particles had some potential to cause “early lung toxicity” in rats and other animals, but that the potential for people to inhale graphene particles – and the related health risks – are not yet known, and may vary with based on mask design.

Conspiracy theory? No, there was a recall when the graphene masks first came out in 2020 (edit: 2021, which is when this article was written)
I think some people need to look up the definition of conspiracy theory.
Anything that counters the official narrative is considered a “conspiracy theory”.
And in July 2021 (after the initial recall in April 2021) they rescinded the recall for the masks produced by Shandong Shengquan New Materials Co. Ltd. Probably after “Health” Canada received direction from the China Communist Party through “Dr” Tam.
What official narrative does this counter? Please be specific.

The greatest damage done by these agencies isn’t so much the Kung Flu restrictions and nonsensical directives; it’s the catastrophic loss of confidence in the medical establishment caused by their abdication of medical ethics.
Kung Flu was never very dangerous, but the next viral pathogen might be. There’s no effective general treatment for cancer now, but there are several promising therapies that are close to human trials. At this point, the medical establishment could magically transform into a 100% reliable, trustworthy and evidence-based body overnight, but who in their right mind would trust anything they say ever again? How many people will die from easily preventable diseases over the next ten years because we all have to figure this shit out for ourselves now?
The only science that health Canada (like CDC) follows is the Political Science Fiction.
Looks like they’ve found a holy grail to use to blame for vaccine injuries. Long covid, etc being blamed for the jabba’s side effect will masks be the next target?

Nobody was talking about asbestos. Snopes added that to justify initially calling this a conspiracy theory.
I get so frustrated doing research, because all of the “fact check” websites feel no compunction about quietly editing their posts to make it look like they were telling the truth all along.
