YOU WILL NOT GET HEALTH CARE UNTIL WE SAY YOU GET HEALTH CARE: Protesting at a hospital? Intimidating patients? The NDP has gone full Westboro Baptist Church. Funny — they called for the arrest of anti-vax protesters for doing far less.

Less government more medical care.
If the education system actually taught anything relevant, Solzhenitsyn’s ‘Cancer Ward’ would be required reading.

The health care system will always provide more sytem than health care.
“We’ll keep fighting to protect our union turf”.
There, FIFY
For those unclear on the concept. “Public Healthcare” is the code for union turf.
Yeah, if you want to put a finer point on it that’s what this is all about.
Umm, are not there privately owned abortion chop shops getting government Money?
The government bleats how pro-abortion it is yet cannot deliver most of these abortions.
Now how are pro-abortionists supposed to get their jollies?
NDP health care solution?
Soviet style health care.
Stand in line and wait.
Well … you could always do what American leftists did before Obamakkare was passed in the dead of the night at Christmas … you could fly to Cuba to get some of their “wonderful” communist health care. American leftists swore by it
EMERGENCIES ACT! EMERGENCIES ACT!!!!
Anything government handles, becomes more scarce and less accessible. Such as hospital access during the recent pandemic.
However, your “health” card proves you have a constitutional right to the same.
OH,,,,,oh,,,,unless the overlords change their mind or get paid more, which ever comes first.
May I assume those protesters are aware that for every person who chooses to go to that private clinic, another spot opens up in the public system, thereby benefiting the next person in the public lineup, and shortening wait times in the public system?
On a personal level – as a senior on a fixed income, I get to move ahead in the lineup? (So they are protesting AGAINST me getting treatment sooner…)
That overall health care dollars are increased, once you add private and public health dollars?
That some health dollars are now utilized more efficiently? (You get to guess which ones, Dear Reader.)
Lemme see….on the one side, shorter lineups and wait times, more health care dollars, more efficient care….the things that gov’t and media keep telling us we need. And no extra tax burden to provide them.
On the other side….ideology and envy/hatred of anyone who may be doing well financially.
Take yer pick.
Actually, the way they see it, if those doctors weren’t working in private clinics, they would be working in the government system. More doctors in the over-stressed public system means less wait time for them.
In reality (something the protestors are unfamiliar with) more doctors in the public system would help the backlog, but being mired in government bureaucracy, wouldn’t shorten wait times as much as a much more efficient private clinic.
You could disperse that crowd of unfit and equally useless idiots by tossing bars of soap at them.
Am I correct in saying Doug Ford is a Progressive Conservative?
I have always said that the biggest oxymoron in the known universe is HONEST POLITICIAN.
PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVE has got to be a close second.

I’m actually a very satisfied client of Herzig. From first contact to surgery, including an extra couple of weeks to check that the surgery would not cause indirect harm, was two months. Brilliant and attentive care all along the way. Heck, they were phoning me to check on things. On the weekend before my surgery on a Monday, there was a number to phone for any last minute questions or worries. Is that available in the public system?
In contrast one of my sisters had to wait 18 months to get the same surgery in the public system in Alberta.
It was worth every penny of what I paid, even though I am not getting a reimbursement from OHIP.
It always boils down to two things: money and ego.
Union schlubs don’t get paid for services not rendered and their delicate egos can’t ever come to terms with socialism just not working.
ANd how about the people who were getting yeye treatment? Should they have been blinded as punishment?
When are non vaxxed health care workers being rehired? Merritt just had its ER closed because of a lack of nurses.
