   1. My takeaway was that the Telluride Program has been a dumpster fire from day one.

      Having been through those “extremely bright” kids programs in high school, I’ve observed that the “extremely bright” kids are no less susceptible to being waylaid by fads and charismatic malefactors. Emotionally they’re still hormonal and naive teenagers, but their precociousness leads adults to treat them like adult geniuses, with usually tragic results.

      I mean, they let a bunch of 17 year olds live in a house by themselves and “self-govern”. FFS.

5. TBH … those super selective HS teens all seem to be complete NIGHTMARES. Someone should follow their lives and see how many of these “elite” teens end up on welfare … walking the streets mumbling to themselves …

   Next time invite some “horrifyingly average” students and see what happens

      I was in one of those “special” classes, and average students wouldn’t cut the learning pace.
      And when I took my industrial engineering course, ditto, fact the professor who designed the I E course stipulated that NO average students need apply, as we did about 500 class room hours in 135 hours.

      2. Yeah … it might be tough for “average” students to keep up with the pace of DEI spew. They can only absorb just so much race hatred directed at them in a given sitting … before they completely tune out.

   Those young people were brainwashed, that is easy to do in schools. They are damaged for life if they don’t start thinking and acting their own ideas, not something they were told by a dicktatorial (sic), totalitarian mind.
   One can imagine that it would not reflect in good marks, though you have to have a better argument. In this case that would be rather simple.
   As it is though the dicktat (sic) is difficult to overcome, it’s the hierarchy of rulers.

         It’s eating you out man. Apparently, for some reason it makes you feel good.
         As it is no one cares, it’s your problem.
         I’m catholic and find it inoffensive, current pope excepted.
         There is nothing that you can write, damning Catholics that offends.
         If you check, they are people, some bad, some good and a lot in between.
