  4. So someone should be asking is it union rules that don’t allow the CFIA inspectors to inspect for both Alberta and Sask?
    Or was it the fault of the CFIA that you need different inspectors?

  5. Huh? I thought Federal inspection was good enough for international export as well as domestic. Lots of folks are just bypassing all the regulatory BS

  6. I have no idea who’s been smuggling the Last Mountain Blueberry and Saskatoon jams across our mostly unfortified border between AB/Sask. … It’s possibly the best jam ever, available by the litre too, er… 950ml?
    Don’t want to spill the beans on the culprit who’s been suppling Superstore and Walmart as it gets ugly here when the supply shortage is real.
    It’s probably capitalists. They’re into that sort of thing.

    Knocking down provincial barriers will be beneficial to both producers and consumers.
