  1. Mild-mannered Jagmeet Singh is Luxury Man, billionaire-fighting multi-millionaire superhero. Today he vowed to do battle with those dastardly Liberals and Conservatives who claim they want to finally make Canada’s health care system less like those of North Korea and the Prime Minister’s native Cuba.

Why does Luxury Man think he should get to decide, when he got so few votes in the last election and never has to wait in line for health care like the rest of us? Seems like highjacking, which is not to say that Luxury Man condones aviation crimes. He’s a superhero not a villain, although he sure looked like one before his media consultants got their act together:

Speaking of the media, did the CBC Photoshop the Rolex today? The wrist looks odd:

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/ndp-caucus-retreat-1.6716591

    1. The Rolex is under the shirt cuff on the picture at the top (when I looked). They couldn’t do anything about the high priced suit either.

Still shows that a dressed up *sshole is just an *sshole dressed up.

    2. Hey, c’mon, Meethead has vital role to play, and it has great benefits.
Each point he rises, is a point removed from Pink Hitler.

      PePe runs up the middle.

Butt the noah fload thing is real, I got it, BS started with “religion”, and that is still the main driver of BS

    1. Make constitutional carry a federal law.
Allow private citizens to own howitzers, as per the founders intent.

    1. Alec needs jail time. The sad thing, is if he gets it, it will be considered some kind of victory.

      1. Being in Crowbar Hotel ain’t no victory, jail is loss of freedom .
Lock his azz up, let him dream it’s a win win while Big Bubba is ripping him a new one.

        1. He’ll duck it. He had a gun safety staffer, so he’d “done what’s required” – and it’ll pan-out to “all her fault”. Mind you, she was uncertified and not a union member (and the union has pretty stringent precautions for real-gun prop managers, none of which she was following), but his lawyers will claim that he was just tryin’ to save a buck on production costs… So, ‘negligence resulting in accidental death’ is all he can be pasted with. More’s the pity…

          1. “negligence resulting in accidental death”

That’s what they call involuntary manslaughter in Canada. Same thing. Actually criminal negligence causing death.

  2. I’ve just discovered a sci-fi author that I quite like, a man by the name of Stephen Baxter. A Brit, to boot. The Brits are still the best judges of human nature, despite the fact that Britain no longer exists. Baxter portrays humans as both insane psychopaths, who are not capable of forming a long-lasting society unless its for the purpose of wiping out an enemy, while at the same time portraying humans as something worth saving. Bloody beautiful. Also, he holds the sci-fi record for the largest structure built by anyone, ever.: The Xeelee Ring.
The Xeelee cycle of books comes highly recommended.
His book “The Time Ships”, written in the style of HG Wells, with the protagonist being the same man as in “The Time Machine” is yet another of his great works, IMHO.

    1. They conveniently leave out the “Reverend” these days. Just Dr. MLK now.
Godless monsters honoring a Christian minister.

      1. Clearly, even Ukrainian prostitutes make better fighters and commanders than the Ruϟϟischeschweinen 25+ generation alkie quadrupeds (male or female). Case in point: you CAN live on vodka alone, but it’s not very healthy.

  3. My observation of the day concerns the original Power Rangers (1993) cast uniforms.

Black : The only black guy.
Yellow : The only Asian girl.
Pink : The only white girl.
Power blue : The gayest looking white guy.

    That’s all I got.

  4. Are The Ukrainian Elite Beginning To Eat Each Other.
Looks like Corrupt Coke Head Clown Zelinsky’s Gang is Falling Apart.

Let us commence with the news that someone (or a group of someones) assassinated Ukraine’s top three intelligence officials — the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevgeny Enin and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lubkovich. Wait a minute (some will say) we do not know if this was a mechanical failure or pilot error. True, no final conclusions, yet. But an eyewitness interviewed by one of the Kiev media claimed:

that the helicopter with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on board was spinning and burning in the air before the collision.

    1. They’re getting desperate. The game is unraveling. Look for a major false flag soon.
They tried the “Russians bombed an apartment building”, only to be outed by their own DM. Like the railway station missile attack, the missile attack in Poland, the murder of Russian supporting Ukrainians, the deliberate shelling of hospitals and schools in eastern Ukraine, all war crimes, covered up by western media, but the truth always gets out.
The only war the Nazis are capable of winning is the media war, and they are starting to lose that one as well, that’s why they will need a false flag incident.

      1. Reznikov said no such thing. It was Arestovich who is well known to jump the gun. He never had an official position other than advisor and has since resigned.

Kramatorsk was definitely Russia. There were videos on Russian Telegram channels of Tochka launches minutes before the station was hit. Then they were deleted. Just like MH17. Russia then denied using Tochkas.

Poland was a Soviet era air defence missile. Would it have been launched of it weren’t for Russias unjustified invasion?

Go read the OSCE and UNHCHR reports pre invasion to find out who was doing what.

        1. “Go read the OSCE and UNHCHR reports pre invasion to find out who was doing what.”

LOL like these two will ever read anything that contradicts their directives.

    1. LMAO go look at Russias documents of “proof”. It’s a joke.

It isn’t breaking news that developed country tries have biolabs, even ones with dangerous substances. It isn’t breaking news that developed countries have drug trials either

      Yawn.

  5. I hope they hound the ex PM Jacinda Ardhern of NZ to the gates of hell. Hopefully her conscience torments her all her life. She is an elected Mass Murderer just like Justin Trudeau and his puppet Singh.

“Over the past year, Ardern has faced a significant increase in threats of violence, particularly from conspiracy theorist and anti-vaccine groups infuriated by the country’s vaccine mandates and lockdowns. She said, however, that the increased risk associated with the job were not behind her decision to step down.”

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jan/19/jacinda-ardern-resigns-as-prime-minister-of-new-zealand

    1. Excellent news.

“Ardern said her decline in the polls did not prompt her decision to leave.”

        1. I have a feeling she was shown the door by her Masters.
Her inner Commie came out and it spooked the sheep.
Her crocidile tears are for her , blowing it with the Boss has repercussions, ask Epstein.
Our Overlords may have decided it is best to have a kinder, gentler butcher that can whisper sweet nothins in the ears of the sheeple while ushering them into the slaughter house.

          1. The Five Eyes have finally revealed the Fist behind the Velvet.
            There is no turning back.
Weakass Canadians are going to have lots and lots of palpitations.

    2. “the increased risk associated with the job”
      Should read
the increased risk associated with the jab
Thanks Guardian, it’s now a conspiracy to be “infuriated” by something that actually happened.
They can’t lay-off enough people fast enough.

    1. I read the actual report – or at least tried to. It’s mostly about male violence and poor behavior wrt alcohol use that led to the recommendations. Very little science. Social reengineering. They allege a strong connection between breast cancer (colon too) and alcohol consumption but when you dig down it doesn’t seem very strong. Breast cancer incidence increases from 6 to 7 (in 10,000 I presume) when you go from no drinking to moderate drinking. People who drink also do other things (like smoke and take drugs while they drink so a slight increase could be due to other factors). The whole report sucks and seems to be written by the same people who write the climate science reports. Plus the report was a summary of other reports, not an independent study on its own.

If you Google the highest breast cancer countries versus countries with highest female drinking there is no correlation. Must be other factors. The US is highest in drinking but only ranks 9th in breast cancer, for example. The report is crap.

    2. Just being drunk is no longer enough in this embarrassing country, you have to be completely whacked out of it on really strong drugs to overlook the insanity that the Liberals are imposing.

    3. Super, can I go for smoke now? No, of course not. Because smoking is unhealthy unlike Heroin or Cocaine which are perfectly healthy apparently. Oh and Justine, I am gonna have my glass of whisky before I go to sleep every night, even if I have to distill it myself, because f*** you, that’s why.

    4. These are the same people who want unconditional, health inspected heroin available on demand, free of charge, for Canada’s addicts.
      “Harm Reduction” don’t ya know.

    1. You’re not a real Liberal until you get your unarmed country in a nuclear war.

      1. You’re not a real Liberal until you get your hilariously unable to defend itself country in a shooting war with a nuclear power and hope like hell that the Hated Americans do the fighting for you.

Or are the Americans only hated by Canadians(Liberals,Media, Liberal voting morons) when Repubs are governing?

    2. Our daily reminder that those who run Canada and the US are fools. They should be cutting their losses on the Ukraine, rather than double down.

        1. Billions of dollars that could have been spent in a way that benefits the people of Canada and the US. The fools keep wasting money on this mess.

          1. Billions of dollars spent making orcs good, that’s a monumental service to humanity. There are plenty of places where the government should spend less, making orcs good is not one of them.

          2. Dehumanizing the people you dislike by calling them “orcs” means that you have no actual argument. Just the kind of bigotry that would not have been out of place in Nazi Germany.

          3. Spare me your pearl cluthcing. Those are not “people I don’t like” I don’t like people farting in elevators or talking on the phone in restaurants. Orcs are a murderous genocidal horde that needs to be turned into fertilizer. And you could not care less about government spending money, you just simp for orcs.

          4. Says the guy with the murderous hatred for an ethnicity that is to the general population of this country indistinguishable from his own. Beyond the spoken/written language/dialect (for example, Ukrainian and Russian are mutually intelligible dialects of the same language) and flavour of Christianity (Catholic or Orthodox) that is practised, there are no obvious differences between Poles, Belarussians, Ukrainians and Russians.

          5. There are very obvious differences. Just ask people (Poles or Ukrainians) what they think of orcs. The fact that you claim there are no differences just shows that you are willingly spewing orc propaganda. Like I said, you’re an orc simp.

          6. Coming from you, an accusation of being an “orc simp” is a badge of honour, because it is proof that I am not a Nazi or willing to ally with Nazis.

          7. That’s not losses, that’s investment. By giving Ukraine a fighting chance they make sure the war is contained within its (and Russian) borders, otherwise it would spill over to the European neighbours of Ukraine and there would have been real losses of human life. If you believe the fvcked-up Pootin would stop at conquering Ukraine, you’re out of touch.

          8. Prairie Sky, that’s fine, I could not care less how it makes you feel. Like a typical orc racist, you reduce your argument to ethnicity, to the pan-slavic bullshit, to a russian version of “they all look the same to me”. You consciously ignore distinct cultures of peoples who have more than a millennium worth of heritage to rely on for their distinction. History, a good chunk of which, was spent resisting the Siberian Mongol disease. Feel anyway you like. This clearly is not the world you’re capable of relating to.

          9. Also, sorry to disappoint, but your comments show that you are indeed allied with Ruϟϟischeschweinazis, which are the only Nazis in existence.

          10. Colonialsta: You made quite the assumptions about my heritage and motivations there. Funny thing is you are completely wrong. I can no more tell the difference between a Pole, a Ukrainian and a Russian than I can tell the difference between an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman. And my ancestry comes exclusively from the British Isles. Oh, and there you go again with another Nazi-esque slur. No arguments, just a mindless hatred of the type that has no place in Canadian society.

B2 Admirer: That is a load of BS, and you know it. Had the Russians got the bloodless coup-de-main they they thought they’d get, they’d have gone no farther simply because civilization would have burned in nuclear fire. Poland and the Baltic states are under both the the American and the French nuclear umbrella, and as part of the European Union, would remain under the latter even if the Americans walked away from NATO tomorrow. The French nuclear deterrent alone is enough to ruin Russia, regardless of the fact that the Russians can also ruin the whole of Europe while having enough left over for the United States and Canada

Now though, the Russians will stop with both the Crimea and the eastern bit of the Ukraine that they hold simply because they cannot afford to go any farther, not now and not in 20 years. And they will hold those because while they’ve lost roughly 120,000 soldiers in this war, the Ukrainians have lost more than 150,000. The casualty ratio is is Russia’s favour, and even the foolish Biden administration has outright admitted as much. The Russians are going to get a phirryc victory that will see them look inwards for at least a generation, if not longer. Ukraine, on the other hand, is ruined, and has been since the beginning of March last year. it is just a question of how ruined are they going to be when this is over, and how soon the Americans will wash their hands of them once the war ends.

          11. “You made quite the assumptions about my heritage and motivations there. ”

I made no assumptions about your heritage. None at all. I stated the fact that you clearly cannot relate to that part of the world and that you are parroting orc propaganda. You can’t help it, case in point:

“the Ukrainians have lost more than 150,000.”

            1. FOAD for “the Ukrainians”
            2. And the number you quote for their loses is orc bullshit.

          12. Prairie Sky, you think NATO would strike with nukes the moment the Russians crossed the borders of any of its members? That’s idiotic to say the least. Also, prior to the war the Russians were making demands that NATO would withdraw from the Eastern Europe, can you guess why? Until this war, the consensus was that old Poo would only conquer the areas where most (or a large proportion) people wanted to join Russia (which was the case with e. g. Crimea) and there are few areas like that, that why Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014 got next to nothing in terms of international support. When the full-scale invasion of Ukraine started, it became clear that he’ll conquer everything he’s allowed to (because his troops were mostly unwanted in Ukraine). Far more practical to disallow Ukraine now than wait for some other country in the future.

      1. Seems to me that Conservative HATE is a 24 hour a day proposition in Libranostan.

  6. So the defence minister is willing to donate some leopard tanks (the 20 suited for theatre and in serviceable condition) but would have to get the import permit from Germany so we can’t.
Germany just uped the ante by calling (will allow export) and raising with a condition that the US send Abrams.
Puts it in Biden’s court now, he agrees it forces Canada to send what few tanks we have and allows money to flow through a U.S. defence company via Ukraine.
Any guesses how this is going to play out and who gets egg on their face?

    1. Zelinsky and his gang of thieves are turning on each other.
He has lost all of his Interior Ministry when a stinger took down their chopper, and had to put one of them on his KILL list for speaking out about the Ukrainian missile that hit the apartment building.
It is falling apart. Their greed is getting to them. ost of the donated weapons are being sold on the Black Market.
Trudeau is a moron and is showing his stupidity and slavish ass kissing of USA policy.
One of the weakest PM’s ever, America says jump Trudeau jumps.

    2. Our defense minister is an idiot. As is our prime minister. And anyone else who thinks that stripping the Canadian Army of what little modern equipment it has is a good idea. The idea was idiotic last spring when they shipped 10% of the artillery’s gun to the Ukraine, when we only had 30 to begin with. And it is idiotic now when they want to send 1/5 of our tanks there, for no good reason.

Between the woke social engineering, the chronic shortages of funds and equipment, and now this, is it any wonder that our soldiers, sailors, and airmen are quitting in droves?

      1. That should be enough. Took less than 3% to change how we address each other and define ourselves.

  7. Don’t kid yourself, the military is on the military’s side.

    https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/canadian-military-finances-technology-to-collect-social-media-data-despite-claims-it-was-shutting-down-such-efforts/ar-AA16w3w9?ocid=hponeservicefeed&cvid=f7e6846fbe3b41cb9dd01ccbf5139449

“A military team monitored and collected information from people’s social media accounts in Ontario, claiming such data-mining was needed to help troops who were to work in long-term care homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. That initiative involved collecting negative comments Ontarians made about Premier Doug Ford and the failure of his government to take care of the elderly and then forward those on to the Ontario government.”

  8. Zon:

Sorry, didn’t see your question until this morning. The girl was actually the older sister of a student of my friend.

She is home after her visit to the hospital. No further info at this time. I don’t know the family personally or I’d ask. If [snort] this had anything to do w/ the jabs, it’ll be swept under the carpet.

  9. CBC explains to Canadians how stupid their public healthcare defenders are and how CBC can’t find anyone who understands basic economics.
And they lay out their plans to immortalize that stupidity.

“Poaching of staff top concern for Ontario hospitals over new surgical centres”
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ont-health-care-1.6718407

If poaching employees is an issue for hospitals then isn’t poaching employees from any business an issue?
No new lithium mines, no new auto plants, no new restaurants, no new windmills because they will poach employees from existing businesses.
No one is poaching CBC employees, oddly.

This is the level of economic understanding that the CBC has.
And this is the level of stupidity of those supporting the healthcare status quo.

Here’s a thought: Instead of pouring billions into universities to train more hospital bureaucrats why not concentrate on training medical staff?
