  1. Hopefully the walls are padded for the story writers and editor.

Let’s see Nancy, Hunter and Brandon’s tax returns.

    1. EXACTLY…….it isn’t a crime to be able to claim losses on a business as far as I know……..YES I would like to see the tax returns to all those in Congress, Senate as well…….they get in that job with not much money, and all of a sudden they are ALL MILLIONAIRES…….this is not a coincidence……..BRIBES…….is the name of the game, and they never quit FUNDRAISING, not sure for what but heck it all goes in their back pockets………what a system

  2. When I add a link to a (relevant) news site, on this topic, The SDA disappears it. Doesn’t register it, just disappears, the backbar button doesn’t bring the comment into view. I edit it to include the link, it doesn’t show up, and 2nd time around, displays “You can no longer edit this comment” with a red bar…

No swears, no highly sensitive words in the link. Nada.

and the previous comment, which was simply a question mark, disappears as well.

  3. How does one use business losses “aggressively”. As a general rule only depreciation can be accelerated and that is available to all businesses. I see no problem here.

    1. Typical Dem-MSM deflection, now it’s OMB 24×7, throw mud, see what sticks, Trump, Trump, Trump, while..,
      Brandon burns down the house
      PenisPianoPlayer burns Ukraine
      Blackie burns down our house

    2. They don’t know how anything much in the real world actually works. I expect business accounting would be impenetrable black magic to the authors of this drivel.

Perhaps they could do a bit of a case study on the early years of Amazon ? Perhaps some of the leading Dems would like to share, just to provide virtuous contrast

    3. They’ve spent what 6 years now demanding the tax returns and this is what they’ve got. Blumpf claimed legal deductions news at 11.

    4. It could be that Trump was expensing the costs of assets that should have been capitalized and then depreciated.

  4. So Trump lost $100 on one deal, made $100 on another, and “aggressively” combined them to pay no tax.
    I’m shocked – shocked, I say!
    Meanwhile, he goes home with…
    Not one cent of profit?
    Wait a minute…

  5. Good lord these people are dimwitted and just plain stupid. I would say retarded but apparently some folks are offended by that descriptor.

  6. How DARE the baaaaaaad Orange man not pay taxes on his business losses! In a related story … did Amazon pay any taxes in 2021? Or did they … aggressively … use business losses and expenses to avoid paying taxes?

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/stephaniedenning/2019/02/22/why-amazon-pays-no-corporate-taxes/?sh=6da7b20554d5

Perhaps Forbes will do a sympathetic LOGICAL, RATIONAL, TRUTHFUL explanation of President Trump’s taxes? Yeah … never in a million years … Nevermind.

    1. Donald Trump: “The Earth is round.”
Fact check: False. The Earth is in fact an oblate spheroid.
Nancy Pelosi: “The Earth is flat.”
Fact check: True. From the perspective of someone standing on the Earth, it appears to be flat.

        1. Keep in mind that this type of BS fact checking applies across the board, to everything, and that “putting on your thinking cap” is now considered the same as wearing a tinfoil hat, and will no doubt soon be a criminal offense.

  7. Can’t wait for the Demon Rats Tax returns to share the spotlight.

For like so many tax payers,I am fascinated by the way career politicians, are elected to office which pays 100s of thousands per year, with massive election debts, serves through a few terms, spending massively on each election campaign, then retires with a net worth of Millions.

    So what is the magic?

For their income is “known”to be considerably less than the totals they retain.
    Maths being not so hard.

And now, thanks to the Supreme Court and Demon Rats these are the new rules.
Your guaranteed confidentiality of those affairs between you and the tax department,is done.
If you are a public employee,so sad too bad.

Using these “new rules” all politicians are thieves and must be treated as such until they prove otherwise.
Also “new rules” Hang First Try later.

As for the stunning ignorance of these so called reporters..
These are the same geniuses, who demand government subsidies..when their customers reject their product.
Tax returns are way beyond these little progressives.

    1. “Your guaranteed confidentiality of those affairs between you and the tax department,is done.
If you are a public employee,so sad too bad.”

Including ” elected officials” and applied even – handedly and aggressively that might be a good start?

  8. That’s nuthin’!
I heard he actually went to bed without brushing his teeth once!
The Horror, the Horror, the Horror….

  9. “aggressively” … yeah … and EVERY Daily Mail story describes Trump as … “raging”. I guess these “journalists” believe that their fragile readership will be frightened by these “violent” descriptive words … and decide they don’t want anything to do with such a roughian

  10. Don’t forget he also aggressively donated his salary as president to charity, thereby robbing the government of their fair portion of taxes, thus depriving society’s most vulnerable of social aid.

  11. Now can we see the record of taxes Joe and Hunter paid on the tens of millions received via their treasonous sale of access to the office of the Vice President?

ps. Table dances are not deductible.

  12. They failed to mention that trumps worth was less after he left office than when he entered. Think that’s true for Biden pelosi shiner and the turtle?

  13. Jaore: Note to the “Walls are closing in” side: Trump does not sit down April 14 with a copy of TurboTax for Business to do his taxes. ….

  14. Owen:
Let me see if I understand how the game is played.

Door #1: trample on the promise of taxpayer privacy, guarantee brutal payback against your own side as soon as the political winds shift, all to reveal —shocker!— no crime but a completely predictable complex mess. Door #2: honor the promise of privacy, slow (a little; maybe) the erosion of public respect for your side, and move on to something a little less insubstantial that might actually help you destroy Orange Man.

    Which door? #1! Of course!

  15. Jason:
    BRACE YOURSELVES:

A wave of economically illiterate half-wits who can barely spell ‘net operating loss carry forwards” and “depreciation of real property” are coming!

  16. I expect many politicians to express outrage at business people using the laws and rules that politicians themselves made.

  17. Rich people who hire accountants and lawyers typically do not have tax problems particularly if they advise them not to take an aggressive stance. With the perpetual audits Trump receives, he does not take an aggressive stance. Note – deducting prior year’s losses is not in any way aggressive.

  18. “Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one’s taxes. Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes and public duty to pay more than the law demands.” – Judge Learned Hand – (Helvering v. Gregory (1934))

  19. Trump turned the economy of the US around, pretty much on a dime, and he was a threat to the new world order being planned. This is why they continue to attack him, because if he is re-elected, then those plans will be disrupted, just as they were when he won the 2016 election. That is why he was constantly attacked throughout his presidency, and why they can’t allow him to ever win again. I predict that if his next run at that office begins to look like he might actually win, there will be an attempt on his life.

I keep banging the WEF drum I know, but everything seems to lead back to them everytime!

  20. Since my tax returns can be made available to use against me in court, does it mean I can use the 5th amend. to refuse to file my tax form? Asking for a friend.

    1. In Canada – someone once asked me whether a government agency could access his tax return. I photocopied the two pages of exceptions in the Tax Act. Almost anyone in government can get access.
