      I have a 2013 Mac Book Pro that runs like a charm but I’m now pissed that I bought a new I Phone two months ago (the battery died on the previous one).

      1. I was just given an iPhone 13 as a company business phone.

   Cook had “little choice” (as stated in the above article) in this deal with China, I have no idea of which other countries could build their equipment. If Apple (and 1000’s of other companies) are going to outsource manufacturing to this sort of country, perhaps India is a good choice. I’m not disputing that Tim Cook is all of the above which Robert said in his post, nor what others are saying about him or Apple. It’s clear that human rights take a back seat to building products for us. All the companies in business in the first world have done this… Tim Cook did say a few years ago that all these items could be built in America, though I doubt there’s a market for $3k iPhones.
   After the “next Great War” I may change my mind about having people more accustomed to being serfs, building my tech toys. We may have to source our tech toys elsewhere for a couple of decades when the lights go out in Beijing.
