  1. The Episcopal/Anglican Church in North America is doomed anyway.

This sort of thing only speeds up their decline.

      1. The Episcopal/Anglican social club (formerly the Episcopal/Anglican Church) is now not a church but rather a radical lefty club and only nominally Christian. It ceased being a Christian church long ago.

  2. Nor can you be straight and Christian. So I visited my home ELC Lutheran Church several weeks ago at the urging of old friends who were excited for us to hear the new Pastor of the church. We were treated to a visiting speaker from the Pacific Theological Seminary in Berkeley who proceeded to preach about how he first … finally … learned that Christ LOVES and accepts his gayness. When he was finished, the new Pastor proceeded to browbeat the white, straight, suburban congregation to “relearn the Bible” and to throw off our bigotry and bias. A real talking-down … dressing-down … of the congregation.

This Christian man may just be finished with the organized church … forever.

      1. Who are we white, straight, sober, Christians to say that “Christ’s body” didn’t include mind-altering drugs? Right? Yes, this is how you extinguish Christianity and the deity of Christ. Simply mock it all … from within.

    1. There are good churches that still believe and preach the real gospel. But admittedly you sometimes have to hunt for them. (There are still a few good individual parishes in the ELCA. But not many. And I don’t know about in California.)

    2. For many decades I was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (Canadian branch of the ELCA). Over the past 20 years I watched as the National and Provincial offices led the way to radical leftism. Many congregations broke with the ELCIC, but ours didn’t. Though it still was a part of the ELCIC it stayed out of politics and social issues and stuck to being a gospel based church.

Until the relatively new pastor along with a few of the “progressive” members went all gay, all the time. Most of the membership is now gone, the pastor is gone (nobody left to pay his salary) and the remnant congregation is being financially supported by the provincial synod…for now.

Everything the radical left gets in control of, it destroys.

  3. Church eh…?

Last time I was in one of them things, was 33+yrs ago. Our Wedding, by some slippery greasy slimy old 85 yr old Catholic Priest.

Pretty sure that one was into the little boys…

No desire to be preached at by an organization that is men only…& has done nothing but cover the PEDOPHILIC filth within its walls.

They can ALL rot in hell

    1. My one & only stipulation to my lovely bride on our wedding day was, “no church”. We got married in our backyard by a JP who forgot the appt & arrived a half hour late, after I called him with a brusque reminder.

    2. “Pretty sure that one was into the little boys…”

A priest in my town went to the slammer for kiddy diddling. It would make a lot more sense if the Catholic Church required priests to marry.

      1. People who want to mess around don’t go after children.

        Only creeps do.

Larry Nassar was married but whatever.

  4. Anglicans used to be the biggest denomination in Canada, by far. Eventually it became old ladies and queers. Most of the old ladies have died. The United Church was Methodist and Presbyterian. Now it’s religion is gay. The largest Lutheran denomination is gay too.

    1. “Anglicans used to be the biggest denomination in Canada, by far.”

True for Protestant denominations, but not for Christianity overall. The Catholic Church was, and remains, the largest Christian church in Canada.

  5. I love my cluster of rabble-rousing Jesus Freaks.

This past Saturday our Church building housed the Rebel News conference featuring Conrad Black (via video), John Carpey, and I heard Brian Peckford PC, and many others, being capped off by Artur Pawlowski. The House was full with nearly 500 in attendance and many more online across this country and around the world.

We are a community activist Body of Believers who believe the entire Word of Scripture to be true and without error (please, this is not the space/time for a theological debate, but maybe Kate could provide one at a later date) ;^P and we are passionate about not being of this world and it’s corrupt systems, but living as lights in dark places and bringing healing and hope to our community, city, Province, Country and the world’s Nations.

Our Pastors only shut the doors for 2 months(ish) at the beginning of the plandemic and have since racked up over $100K in fines for non-compliance to the mandates. We believe in personal choice and personal accountability, to God first and then to humanity. But, we do not bend a knee to political correctness, believe in the goodness of medical intervention (eg: surgery for MVA’s, etc) but also host a healing room prayer gathering twice a month with medically verified healings from (cancers, tumours, demonization, trauma, sports/MVA/workplace injuries).

We are not a perfect Church, but our love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are attractive to people of over 40 nations, and we love each other and build up our world to know God too.

This isn’t an advertisement for my group, but to counter the hopelessness and despair that many see in the woke and dying bodies of churches in our land.

  6. Christian in name only. I lost all respect for the Anglican church years ago. I was coming out of the grocery store when I saw a woman wearing an Anglican bishop cross and a romish collar exit the nearby liquor store. She was carrying a bag that contained a bottle of some sort. (communion wine?). She waddled to her pickup truck climbed in, gave her girlfriend a big sloppy kiss and drove off. I was thinking of the number of Biblical injunctions she was violating.

  7. Well Glacierman … The header on our church’s website …

If you are searching, saved, black, brown, white, gay, straight, sure, unsure, doubting, older, younger, peace-filled, pain-filled, able-bodied or differently-abled, no matter how many moms or dads or divorces or kids or chromosomes or failures or successes or questions you have, no matter your gender or status or where you are from, know that you are welcome in our community and you are loved

Forgive me … but wouldn’t it have been easier to simply say … “everyone is welcome at our church”? I guess that doesn’t signal nearly enough virtue …

  8. “Forgive me … but wouldn’t it have been easier to simply say … ‘everyone is welcome at our church”?”

    Yes. Yes, it would.

And it would be an unambiguously Christian statement too.

  9. All religion is absolute BS. It’s nothing but a bunch of creeps trying to control your mind.

    They can all FOAD.

And let me tell you, 90% of people under 40 years old agree with this.

    1. I’d say 95% … judging by my own children. However, your hostility betrays your inner doubts … or your frustration at knowing when your heart stops beating … you’re nothing. You’re rotten flesh. I pray for your enlightenment before the moment of your death.

  10. My 2 services a year at the litlle country church (Ukrainian Greek Catholic) suits me fine. Throw in a few funerals and a wedding or two and maybe 5 times a year which is plenty.
