Pot O’ Gold

Follow the rainbow;

NEW🧵: @PrideToronto exploited Cree artist Kent Monkman’s name on yet another federal grant.

This $1million @FedDevOntario grant was not included in Pride Toronto’s apology and KPMG review earlier this year, current leadership must be held accountable for this cover up.

Since 2019, this is the third federal grant that @PrideToronto used Kent Monkman’s name without permission.

This is the fourth federal grant where Pride Toronto promised benefits for Indigenous artists and communities that were never delivered. This now totals $2,850,000.

The grant required that @PrideToronto submit authorization from the Board of Directors, this enabled staff to administer the project funds. Pride Toronto submitted to @FedDevOntario forged signatures of the Board.

    1. The leftist platform is entirely based on the seven deadly sins:
pride, avarice, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth.

  1. How come CBC isn’t on this story? I love watching the Left EAT their own. Its a battle of victimhood. Who wins? Queers or Indians?

  2. Much like Iran vs. Iraq…not sure who I care “wins”, because you know…we’ll pay the price.

  3. All this grant giving by governments at all levels is a perfect recipe for political manipulation, rent seeking fraudsters and hypocritical alleged activists to suck at the public jugular. There should be no government grants period. Charities should raise their own funds and perhaps taxpayers would be more generous if tax collectors at all levels had not already sucked them dry. The WE scandal was a perfect example of the incestuous relationship between politicians and “charitable” and “activist” groups.

    1. Exactly right.
Just as governments have no business picking winners and losers in the corporate world, so it should be with charities.
Give more tax breaks to incentivise charitable giving if they must.

    2. Yes.
      End all government grants.
If a special interest group or charity can’t make it on its own too bad.

  4. I remember months ago there was a leftoid claim that indians were originally so-called two-spirited people, and….Sorry, can’t be bothered with the rest. Basically, being strictly heterosexual was a nasty white guy trick forced on the indians who were up for all manner of shenanigans.
It’s okay with me if this is true, but shouldn’t we be getting royalties from those people? Or gratitude.

    1. Actually, I remember even farther back in the day when we were all being urged to accept homosexuality as a “normal” part of our culture, but the Indians were claiming an exemption because it wasn’t part of their culture and heredity.
When one thinks about the Indian culture pre-Columbus, their survival depended on the tribe being able to both show a “profit” in obtaining more food than was required to fend of actual starvation and to produce enough children to keep the tribe going. Under those circumstances, I rather doubt the tribe entertained much tolerance for a young man or woman who was homosexual; the tribe couldn’t afford to, given the rather precarious balance it had with nature. As for the “two-spirited” bit, I would like to see how it played out in real life. I rather suspect this was tolerated just so long as the person involved actually participated in activities to increase the tribe numbers.

  5. There’s a lot of money in perversion.

Governments seem willing to fund the most disgusting things in the name of white man bad.

  6. Why can’t I post a comment on SDA without using a VPN to mask something or other. I believe this to be the work of Fenris Badwulf whom I have criticized. I think he tried to ban me from SDA….. anything like that ever happen to you?

I am using a VPN from Switzerland for this comment to post … otherwise,, the comment simply disappears.

    1. For a couple of months I was unable to post, with the exact same results when I tried. At first I thought it was because of older browsers, but that wasn’t it. Changed email addys, now I can post again. Kate said she was unable to tell me why I was blocked.

      1. Fenris didn’t have access to blocking ip’s. Only I can do that, and I generally use other, more subtle methods that vpn’s don’t solve . But we do have much stronger security software since the intrusion earlier this year, so it’s possible you might have been caught up in that.

  7. But of course. According to Wiki, Monkman’s alter ego is “Miss Chief Eagle Testickle”. Gawd!! Just make it stop already.
Lord, you gotta know Younger Dryas was some of your best work.

  8. Pride sucking at accounting and getting up to things that look a lot like fraud is nothing new….

And the supposed economic activity that they bring to the city never justifies taking from taxpayers to give to connected businesses.

The claim that taking $250k from households that are force to pay taxes that will generate $2 million in revenue for local businesses is codswallop

  9. Is anyone surprised that guys who stick their willy in each others bum and spread diseases would rip people off?

  10. No one seems to be asking why these mewling pervs need public cash in the first place.

Can’t they just get their “allies” to fork over some cash?

  11. One thing we do know, is that not one tiny thing will happen to the fudge packers or the indians.

If we learned anything, it is that the government of Canada is specifically designed as a criminal enterprise.

Who will be punished for Portapique, or any of the outright thievery of the turd liberals?

    Just us.

He will walk, with his pockets filled and we will be made to pay it with a gun held to your head.

  12. So pretty much like the BLM scam, or the non proven residential graves scam, or the cerb scam, just rinse and repeat. Wonder how much of these latest grifts goes back to the Liberal campaign contribution fund. You know 10% for Blackface Fancy Socks.
