  1. Excellent investigative journalism by the Toronto Star.

“Death threats. Racist taunts. Vows of violence. Inside the increasingly personal attacks targeting Canadian female journalists.”

We need female journalists to survive. Who else would take the risk of writing down the license plate numbers in a church parking lot during a service, so they can be sent into the police and these super spreaders can be jailed? Who else would bravely tweet a picture to the police, a picture of a BBQ restaurant being open and one of the attendees is wearing a white supremacist MAGA hat? Thankfully the police shut down that BBQ restaurant and fined this irresponsible person who allows patrons to wear MAGA hats in his presence!!

    1. Someone was taking pictures of our gathering recently. I wonder if she was a female journalist that you speak of?

    2. Well, PP, stick the word ‘conservative’ in front of any “female journalist” and all of the other “female journalists” will be the absolute first to enthusiastically hurl “Death threats. Racist taunts. Vows of violence.” at that ” conservative female journalist”.

BTW, have grown to enjoy your sarcasm-dipped takes… especially when you manage to trigger some naïve tribe member itching for a dustup.

    1. L – “What is to be done?”

I’m waiting for a survey asking Canadians, if they are done with Justin Trudeau.

  2. L – Saskatchewan’s 650 CKOM/CJME, the John Gormley Open Line call-in show is non-stop interviews with officials about the mass murder and about alerts causing mass fear, but not accepting phone calls from the public this morning.

Public opinion is the red meat of call-in shows.
So all we are allowed to hear from our fellow citizens are the sound of crickets.

  3. Re: Simple Man … Skynards producer Al Kooper HATED the song and didn’t want to include it on one of the Greatest Rock lp’s ever produced. Thankfully, the band outvoted him.
