Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

That’s the photo of the week. Maybe the decade.
Best abandon it where it dies, and let the owner/occupant walk to their destination. They need to get used to that.
I wonder if all Tesla operator’s manuals include a section on physical fitness, ie. working out to be sufficiently fit to hike home when the Tesla (inevitably) croaks.
Would make for a great government advertisement. “We’re pushing you into the future”.
A little farther Boys! We’re almost there ….just push it over that little pit in the headframe so we can fix it !
Looks like 6 to me
I’ll bet that the guy in shorts isn’t a coal miner.
electric car owner?
Unless the job has changed, doubt you’d see a whole bunch of coal miners wearing shorts.
There’s five MAGA miners and one blue-state Democrat in blue shorts.
Maybe 5 miners and the owner in shorts.
Answer to burton too. 🙂
I’ll bet if it didn’t have that big f*ckin heavy battery in it, it would push a lot easier.
And think how much cheaper it would be….
Depends on how you look at it I guess – I see five coal miners aiding someone whose environmental philosophy wants to see their jobs gone forever.
You’ll likely find the “Friend of Coal” license plate in a ditch up the road a piece, a couple o’ hollers down.
Best they stay outa the passing lane!
21st century carpool. Brought to you by Tesla.
The irony no doubt being that the guy was on his way to close down the coal mine. Well he still could, after they get his car going again.
As he was leaving town, he was heard to mutter, “I can’t wait to shake the dust of this hillbilly town from my Nikes.”
His car again died, on the outskirts of the major city where he lives, but no one would help him, and AAA refused to provide services in that part of town after dark.
Police found his vehicle the next day, but there was no sign of the driver.
