Just to show how much I don’t watch mainstream media, I had to look up who this woman was to understand why there was a fuss.
Never could stand her. Sounded like a bar room floozy who smoked and drank too much, affecting her vocal chords. Interestingly (not really) in the video she has a completely different manner of speaking/different voice. Like others here, I haven’t watched MSM “news” in many decades. I have never regretted my move away from them. I only caught her when I hit a blog link on a story and there she was – lying through her teeth. Never completely watched the videos at these links.

Don’t care! Some wag here on SDA a couple of years back, called her Liesa La Phlegm, if I recall correctly. The last time I saw her on TV she had no grey hair, so it must have been a while back. Lisa LaGrey was a surprise. I also studiously avoid any legacy news media, and don’t watch any sport unless it has wheels! She might be missed by the lefties, but not for long, and us righties couldn’t care less anyway!
Paying for cable is like paying to be punched in the gut every day. Grew up in a tv free house. Today there is a tv but no cable outlet. It’s for YouTube and the odd Netflix series where we will buy it for a month and watch what we want in January.
There were a couple of occasions I wanted to see what had happened that day, and turned on CTV news. Just a few minutes of LaFlamme was enough to make me reconsider.
She’s a bingo-caller, nothing more. But while her hectoring, condescending tone may have sounded like honey to leftards, I found it repulsive. I haven’t actually watched her in many years, but I see her promos during ball games and movies, and I still feel the same way.
