June 30, 2022: Reader Tips

Tonight we present a short video that likely isn’t on the Loch Ness Tourism Board’s Top 10 list.

Your recent news tip sightings are mightily appreciated.

Bonus: In case you missed it, the Daily Wire had an awesome special this past evening. Towards the end, Jordan Peterson appeared. The audience gave him a huge standing ovation!

  1. Well I know Kate likes horse racing. I found a new channel on youtube yesterday, featuring mostly old races from Florida tracks, mainly Gulfstream Park.

Here’s a replay of the entire race of the stakes record running of the Florida Derby. It predates me, you have to go back 65 years, unbelievably. Never imagined I’d ever see this – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0S8eiF4jeg&t=6s

  2. Last night, someone posted the URL to the movie My Name is Nobody. I watched it earlier this evening. It’s one of the better spaghetti westerns that I’ve seen. It was based on an idea by Sergio Leone and the music was by the great Ennio Morricone.

It was released near the end of the spaghetti western boom and I noticed it might have been influenced by some earlier movies. The train scene probably was inspired by a similar one in The Wild Bunch, directed by Sam Peckinpah, whose name, by the way, was mentioned in the film as one of those buried in the graveyard. The final gunfight was a lot like the ones in Once Upon a Time in the West and Death Rides a Horse.

One good movie tip deserves another. Here’s what I gathered was the first collaboration between Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, God Forgives, I Don’t:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjmHtrYSJ6c

It’s a pretty decent western with lots of bang-bang and some ka-boom.

I’ve come across several more European-made horse operas on YouTube and I’ll slowly work my way through them in the coming days or weeks.

      1. Yup. Bogart was a master. He made a number of movies during the 1930s, but it wasn’t until, I believe, he was in The Petrified Forest that one could see his potential as an actor. Another movie from that same era that’s also worth watching is The Roaring Twenties with James Cagney.

Both of those appear on Turner Classic Movies from time to time.

    THE SONG THAT NEVER ENDS

“The National Advisory Committee on Immunization is recommending booster shots
this fall in advance of a possible future wave of COVID-19 in Canada.”

  4. L – Are we being taken for a ride ? Then the music stops and The Basic Dictatorship begins?
From over a century of riding to the rescue, to now trampling the rowdy peasants, the new meme went international.

Turning Canada into a post nation-state requires destroying trust in every public institution:
Health, Education, Banking, the Administration of Justice, MSM/digital media, Transportation…
along with economic independence. The middle-class Locked Down/Locked Out, never to return. Dissent in word, deed and thought is labelled unacceptable.

Unable to survive inflation, recession, unemployment ? Maybe, it’s your Social Credit score?
By banning public gatherings/protests, fencing off the public from Parliament and deciding to continue ruling remotely(Lockdown gov’t. normalized for the Supreme Leader and his regime), Trudeau is turning Ottawa into the Hidden City. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Is Canada actually being run from a bat cave in Wuhan?

  5. True North reports that high profile politicians in B.C. attended Communist Party of China celebrations.

    1. I muted the intermission during the games just so I didn’t have to listen to Ron the CBC rat.

    1. Oh, you care so much about the Ukrainians, … as long as they have a Siberian Mongol boot on their necks. FOAD orc.

        1. “Brave”? WTF any of this has to to do with being brave? Yes, it is an anonymous forum. Besides any moron can pick a name from a phonebook and claim it is him. Even orcs have mastered this trick (it took them a while). However, if you in particular, are really posting under your own name, then you’re merely a proof that orcs can abort their litter, raise a placenta instead and call it Greg Grandy.

      1. As for Ukrainians, well put it this way, the SS didn’t have a difficult time in Ukraine rounding up Jews and other non-desireables. They had plenty of local help.
Putin is doing a wonderful job of denazifying Ukraine, as well as exposing the Nazis in the west. If you think this ends well for Ukraine or the west, then I guess you do know a thing or two about short buses.
Greg Grandy, (my real name, because that’s what real men do.

    1. L – Does Pierre Poilievre have an objection to this level of immigration ? Waiting….

Under the Trudeau regime what religious belief holding refugees are discriminated against?

  6. Vancouver-based KiSS Radio plays the rock song “Killing in the Name” non-stop for hundreds of times:
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jun/29/canadian-radio-station-rage-against-the-machine-song-nonstop

The artists who recorded this song are called Rage Against the Machine. I take it they espouse left-of-center politics, but at least the name of the artistic group would be welcomed by the majority of conservatives. The link says no reason has been given as to the stunt.

    1. Afraid of a “vintage” crash, ala Kelowna?
Those of unacceptable views could be triggered by planes flying not them, that’s why FJT is in the EU homeland…

    2. It sure would be a shame if someone accidentally hit the panic button on their remote during the Canada day ceremonies.

  7. California Attorney General Leaks Names and Addresses of State’s Legal Gun Owners
    https://www.smalldeadanimals.com/2022/06/30/june-30-2022-reader-tips/

“… The California Department of Justice’s 2022 Firearms Dashboard Portal went live on Monday with publicly-accessible files that include identifying information for those who have concealed carry permits. The leaked information includes the person’s full name, race, home address, date of birth, and date their permit was issued. The data also shows the type of permit issued, indicating if the permit holder is a member of law enforcement or a judge.

The Reload reviewed a copy of the Los Angeles County database and found 244 judge permits listed in the database. The files included the home addresses, full names, and dates of birth for all of them. The same was true for seven custodial officers, 63 people with a place of employment permit, and 420 reserve officers….”

  8. The Daily Wire Downhill was phenomenal. I can’t think of anywhere else on the inter-thing where such truth and objective reality is openly discussed.

    1. Wonder how they will cover for winter.
I’m sure they’ll think of something.
