Mean Girls, Then And Now

Via Ed Driscoll;

The Washington Post, June 1972: Two dogged reporters patiently dig into the details of a strange burglary at Democratic Party headquarters, diligently assemble facts, cultivate sources and put together a package of revelations that will lead to the first presidential resignation in history.

The Washington Post, exactly half a century later: Two Mean Girl basket cases spend an entire weekend crazily lurching around spitting inane accusations at their colleagues for microaggressing them. The more people laugh, the louder they cry, “I’m being endangered!”

  1. Bernstein and Woodward had an opportunity and position to expose electoral fraud in 2020. It was as plain as the nose on your face.

That they did not and have instead adopted a narrative that is 180 degrees opposite to reality and aligns with the deep state virtually assures me that they were deep state operatives posing as journalists, and Nixon was set up like a bowling pin and was the first major deep state scalp.

This shIt has been going on a long time. Trump exposed it

    1. A case could be made that JFK was the first Deep State scalp. Or Abe Lincoln even. Shits been going on long time.

    2. Ward.

I think now, that I too look back at Numerous incidents, that said deep state has been active since the end or even before the end of the 2nd World War. In fact if we look back even further, we see Americans of NOTE Financially Supporting the NSDAP.

By None other than: Ford, Harriman, the Bush Family, Morgan & others….

Said Deep State has been around in some form or format likely since the Rothschilds created their perpetual Banking Cartel in the mid to late 1600’s.
      Look to the MASONS…??

    3. Totally correct. It is about time Woodward, Bernstein and WaPo were exposed for their corruption and deception of the public. A serious look at Phil Graham’s death would probably also reveal that he was suicided. These are not nice people, and they control media and politics.
As an aside, early in Trump’s Presidency, A puff piece documenting the WaPo decisions around Watergate tried to draw a parallel between “corrupt Nixon and Trump. The manipulation was totally transparent. Once you know what these people are up to, you can spot it a mile away.

  2. Woodward and Bernstein should share a cell in a nice DC home for the elderly and insane.

  3. The left never forgave Nixon for exposing Alger Hiss which he did in dramatic fashion I might add.

As for the WAPO…I don’t know much about Lorenz other than she’s a lying drama queen but I do know the Post had to expend a lot of time, money and energy making multiple corrections to her stories, but Weigel, who I only know because of Jimmy Dore gets suspended for a Tweet.
    Crazy times.

    1. I have heard that Watergate was set up as a threat to Nixon for signaling that he was in a position to blow the whistle on the Kennedy assassination. I may have got this from Roger Stone’s book about the assassination. Both Nixon and Stone were close enough to some of the players to understand what actually happened.

  4. Deep State? Why, I did my undergraduate there! What a great school. “Go, Underdogs, go!”
