Last year, on these pages, the two of us raised the red flag on erroneous counts of state populations in the 2020 decennial Census. We noted that the headcount for New York, Rhode Island and other blue states appeared way too high given the annual population estimates from 2011 to 2019. It also appeared highly likely that red states like Florida, Tennessee and Texas had dramatic population undercounts.
When we first noted these anomalies, few believed that the Census numbers were this inaccurate.
Little more than a year later, the Census Bureau’s own data proves what we suspected from the beginning: More than a quarter of the states’ populations were miscounted and blue states were favored at the expense of red states to the tune of almost 2 million people.[…]
The result of this muck up is red states effectively lost at least three seats in Congress while blue states effectively gained them. With a narrowly divided House of Representatives, a six-seat swing is not to be dismissed out of hand. Furthermore, those congressional seats also mean electoral college votes in presidential elections. A more accurate census count would have increased the electoral votes from Florida and Texas in an era when narrow victories are becoming more common.
The same people telling us the 2020 election exhibited the “most accurate” counting in history.

FIRE ALL THE USELESS VOICELESS JUDGES. EVERY ONE. I suppose it’s no surprise that North America’s legal system has abandoned it’s duties of defending basic individual rights and freedoms. Lawyers are after all where most politicians come from and given how grey lawyers can be when it comes to ethics and morals that characteristic undoubtedly makes it way into our Gov’ts. If we want to clean up the corrupted application of Law in Canada, for instance, our judges need to be elected. Further Law is not rocket science and many non-lawyers know A LOT about the correct and fair application of Law without having a Law Degree and they can demonstrate the gold standard of morals and ethics that being a good judge demands. I say increase the pool of people that can be judges to other professionals that have great practical knowledge of Law but aren’t necessarily Lawyers (just like MP’s don’t need to be Lawyers to be great law makers) and further make every judge have to be voted in for a fixed term by the constituents in the area in which they will serve. Appoint Judges NO MORE! It’s way past time to clean up a corrupted system.

So what happens is that six months before the end of their term, judges suddenly decide to retire.
Replacements are appointed by the governor if its within six months to the next election, otherwise a special election takes place. These resignations are always just over the limit for an election.
When elections roll around, the judge appears with “incumbent” next to his/her name, which is an almost automatic win.
But just in case it isn’t, they are very rarely opposed. Other potential candidates are lawyers, who will find themselves working in front of this judge. It has been known for lawyers opposing an incumbent judge to suddenly have a very hard time in court.
Simple solution is drop the “incumbent” title unless they win their position by election or simply disqualify them for running for the position. There’s “relief” staff for other jobs. It can be done here too. I believe that people are waking up to the games that are going on around them. More will pay better attention – especially the 20% unvaxxed crowd that have an axe to grind against the negligence demonstrated by Canada’s legal profession on how easily they allowed the subversion of the Charter of Rights by a foreign bought twit.
And if non-lawyer judges get into the mix the fun and games will get very loud and interesting. Be like Jesus walking into the temple.
I would prefer that if they are temporary fill-ins that they are ineligible for the position.
Fat chance of getting that law change past the supreme court here.

It would take another revolution to right the American ship of state again. Not gonna happen in my lifetime nor during the lifetime of most people on here. We’re headed the same way here in Canada and Europe has been uniparty for maybe 30 years now with the lone exception being Brexit.
