  4. I like the guy, even though he does get Starlink to the Ukraine before setting his sats up here over Alaska and even though he drinks White Claw. Hey nobody’s perfect.

    Subsidy wise, I don’t really fault him for that. When my daughter was a no neck construction stiff, owner of and president of a construction firm, Alaska was giving extra points on bids to female contractors. Yes her company hence got some contracts due to her XX chromosomes that they wouldn’t have got in a level playing field, but hey, it wasn’t level and it’d be silly not to take advantage of the bumps thereon.

    Same for Musk better he got the money to build an electric car than have it spent on another bird killing windmill.

    Anyway I think there’s the germ of a good idea in his Teslas, just as there was in whatshsname’s two wheel Segways.

    The Segway, if you took the side by side wheels, put them one behind the other & stuck a saddle in between, you’d really have something!

    Tesla; toss out 3/4s of the batteries, most (If I had my way, all of it.) of the computer system, install a small diesel electric generator, motor on each wheel (no drive shafts nor differentials needed) dynamic breaking pushing electric back into the batteries, a Tesla could be a valuable tool instead of a toy.
