All legal protests are allowed, and they get to decide what is legal, so only illegal protests are banned. These people need to be flogged.

    From what I’m hearing from my contacts, I can assure you that this is for real. All vehicles associated with this event will be banned from the downtown core, parliament hill, and especially the war memorial. Of course, you can still *walk* to the core, you just can’t drive or ride there, unless you’re on a bicycle. Of course, it’s a 5 km walk from the Queensway to downtown.

    I plan to see someone at city hall tomorrow morning about this.

    Just to clarify… THIS IS ***NOT*** A PROTEST!!! This is a bike rally to celebrate freedom. That is the official line from the Rolling Thunder organizers. Remember to set the record straight, because you’re going to get a lot of fog surrounding this event.

  11. I have supported the “Canadian Taxpayers Association” for 40 years but recently declined to re-new my membership.
    I believe they did very good work and shined a big bright light on government waste and corruption.
    However here we are, 2022, and the waste, corruption is at a staggering level. We have governments that appear to care less that we know they are thieves and liars.
    They distort and ignore the law in order to persecute any opposition.
    Perhaps rather than do convoys an organized effort to stop the delivery of goods into those jurisdictions that lord it over the majority of the Country.
    Starting with Ottawa/ Toronto.
    Demand the lifting of all “travel mandates”. Demand Turdo call, once again, and demand Biden lift the previously asked for vax pass for Canadians to travel south.
    In light of what is going on at the US southern border that is the most asinine US policy ever.

  19. As per the police notice referring to the previous ‘unlawful’ protest. What unlawful protest? There was nothing unlawful about the Freedom Convoy. When they first arrived in Ottawa they made sure to leave a lane open on all roads they were parking on for emergency vehicle traffic because they knew it was the law. It was the Ottawa police who then asked the truckers to reposition their trucks on the affected roads which in turn blocked the roads. If you review the sequence of events you will find this to be the case. I am really looking forward to the trials and lawsuits that are to come. The Freedom Convoy was a peaceful and legal protest. It was the government and the police who were out of line.

    Because that’s what happened in Ottawa.

    The guy with the swastika flag getting the boot proved that the Freedom protesters were not Nazis.
    He wasn’t welcomed, he was booted out.
    That’s the exact opposite of how the far left Canadian main stream media described it and how far left despot Justin Trudeau described it.

    It is a shame that we have to dumb everything down for the sheep but that is the reality today..

    No noises.
    No occupation.
    No disruption or confrontation with the paid media.

    Show up in mass to attend a public meeting of any liberal politician, even better if pre-registration required.
    Without making so much as a facial gesture enter the venue and politely take a seat.
    When the speaker is set to begin their speech, without uttering one word, stand up enmass and walkout.
    The organizers are now stuck trying to come up with an explanation (spin) for their paid scribes why such and such liberal politician couldn’t fill a room.

    If any media decides to get curious and ask one of those leaving why they left.
    Simply say “this is what a freedom protest looks like”.
