    1. Good on you! No such politician like DeSantis exists in Canada.
      I mean, they sure talk a good line when they’re campaigning but once they’re in, something happens to them.

      1. Last summer, upon meeting my MLA for the first time, the topic of Covid reared it’s head. I asked him, “Wouldn’t it be nice if Canada had just one, a single politician, like DeSantis?”

        He had no response.

  6. I am in awe of this governor, which is sad. I live in what is supposed to be the most conservative state in the US, but our supposed “theocracy” has a governor who vetoed a bill to keep “trans” boys from wrecking girl’s sports. I won’t give his name because I always dirty his name up. Our legislature overruled his veto, but he is an example of how my state gets all the downside of a theocracy and none of the upside. If our legislature picked the senators, like they did under the old ways, we’d have no “Senator Mitt Romney”.

  7. It’s not a strange stance if you understand that Disney has been taken over by The Thing. Whatever guise it may take – BLM, trans rights, environmentalism, whatever – it has one goal and that is destroying Western Civilization. Capitalism, individuality, democracy, self-determination, it’s all gotta go. Notice Disney is not the target of the Left for not jumping when the Left demands they jump, it’s for not jumping high enough fast enough. And Disney is scrambling to get ahead of the mob, they’re not fighting the mob. That’s because they are already part of the mob. People who are calling for a boycott of Disney on the theory that once Disney’s woke stance starts costing them money they’ll change their tune don’t get it – the woke mob is already entrenched at Disney and profits don’t interest them. They’ll quite cheerfully run Disney into the ground and things are proceeding as planned.

      Disney is a media company. Media companies are owned by Blackrock Investments. Blackrock executives are members of the WEF. The WEF has PROUDLY proclaimed their agenda for 2030, which includes transhumanism, and people “owning nothing and being happy.”

      WEF PROUDLY proclaims experimenting in gene therapies, which “hack” into the Human RNA, for what purpose, one can only presume either for experimentation, control, or yes, even genocide.

      The agenda includes the dismantling of western Judeo-Christian-based values, which authoritarians see as an impediment to their objectives. This would explain the corporate push for these idiotic, and insane values. It’s all about the money.

  14. I think that the general public is going to recoil from what Disney has become. They are pandering to a slice of the woke mob and that probably wont sustain their business. They have made a chain of bad choices in recent years and I suspect they are already in decline.
