  1. No, he wants Electric Vehicle Charge Centers ALL ACROSS the Province.
That should be pretty pricey in itself!
Considering many will need Generators to boost the Charger Station as no power grid or little capacity is available from our power grid.
They need to be massive multiples of chargers as they take so long to recharge.
Some will quick charge of an hour but most will need at least 8 hours.

Still one kaboom and all these vehicles go kaboom too.

  2. He is correct. There is no difference. Canada – federal and provincial, town and municipality has only one political party run by a hidden elite with several factions that only ever differ in how fast something will change or how much money to spend on it. There is never any discussion that there may be a different or even a better way of doing things. The trucker protest was proof positive that any deviation from the narrative by the people will be ruthlessly squashed by every faction of the governing elite regardless of the colour of their banners.

  3. How does one credibly conflate media as having characteristics of an ecosystem?
Or is it a way of attaching a name to something to keep reasonable people from being disgusted by something abhorrent?
This is the height of progressive cognitive dissonance.
“Oh, it’s part of an ecosystem and anything that harms an ecosystem is bad for the planet”

  4. From Blacklock, according to the government diktat:
“One way or another it falls to government to ensure the new media ecosystem does not operate in ways contrary to the Canadian principles of peace, order and good government.”

    No it does not.

You will note that it can mean anything and everything the the ruling class finds distasteful to their sensibilities.
It is, in fact, the same wording as those of socialists, communists and fascists.

Who is going to stop it?
    “Conservatives”?

This situation in the country is almost helpless for the plebeians.

  5. I asked my PC MPP about this just yesterday and was told that they voted to send the bill to committee as a quick and easy way to get rid of it. The government is strongly against the bill and has no interest in allowing it to become law. Very view bills make it past committee.

  6. You can change the party in power as often as you want but nothing will ever change until the bloated bureaucracy is cut in half and the rest is brought to heel. Even if you elect an truly good person, who wants to do job for the betterment of his (or her) fellow citizens, he is automatically hampered by having to base his decisions on information provided to him by a self-serving partisan bureaucracy which in Canada’s case has been thoroughly infiltrated and co-opted by communists for half a century.
There isn’t a politician (or even a wannabe) alive today with enough gonads to run on that platform. The third party attack ads alone would have everyone thinking you skin puppies and eat children nevermind what the media would do to you.

    1. Nailed it – it’s the bureaucracy. 1000 unaccountable people making 1000 small decisions, never ends well. When was the last time you heard the phrase ‘Ministerial Responsibility?’ The bloated unelected government is too big to control by a few elected. And most elected are just bureaucrats themselves.

  7. I’m afraid we will have to let this madness run it’s course. If it means the destruction of Canada, so be it. Its only when the rubes are freezing and starving , will the pendulum start to swing the other way.
Some will say “look at whats happening in China”, but China too will eventually swing the other way.
I will settle for an MPP who will represent my values during this period of self-destruction. I don’t care if they can’t win enough seats to keep the Liberals or NDP from forming government. In the words of that famous seer Hilary Clinton “What difference does it make”.
Its why I’m voting for the New Blue Party of Ontario.

  8. Ontario Party MPP Rick Nicholls voted for the bill, but he said he regretted it after learning more about critical race theory.

UGH!!!! You’re probably a good guy Rick, but seriously? I was into it for less than thirty seconds and knew it was a shit sandwich.
    Do better.

    1. Precisely. Obviously, rather than actually reading the bill he based his vote on the quoted narrative. Oooops!

  9. Doug Ford has proven himself able to listen to dissenting voices. He’s backed off on stupid legislation in the past, when strong opposition was voiced. Spreading the word online about this bill is important, but with that we should also be contacting the Ontario PC party and telling them that this won’t fly with us.

Even if they weren’t planning to pass it in the first place, hearing an angry base will help the Ontario PCs find a bit more conservative resolve if they are reminded that there can be blowback from an angry base.

    1. “Doug Ford has proven himself able to listen to dissenting voices. He’s backed off on stupid legislation in the past, when strong opposition was voiced.”

Oh yeah? Here’s my dissenting opinion:

Blubber Douggie Ford is just another greasy power-crazed pustule, no different than turdo.

      1. He’s worse than Trudeau, he knew damn well what the mandates would do , he knew he was getting private businesses’ to do the governments dirty work in firing people that wouldn’t comply. He knew it all and did it anyway.
If only he was just full of hot air.
I emailed him long ago, and I hope this debacle haunts them all for the rest of their living years.

  10. Ford, Brown, Hudak, Tory, et al. Anyone who believes the Ontario Conservative Party is Conservative, subscribes to Suzuki’s “Thoughts for the Day”.
