  6. Those “Dangerous” widely used, cheap generic drugs have nobody in the bureaucracy rooting for them. Everyone wants to be nice to their future employers. Where is the big money in generic pharmaceuticals? You need a name brand patented drug to cure what ails you, even if the “NEW” drug has more side effects that the old, now out of patent and generic drug. At least that is what the drug salespeople tell your doctor.

    It is not just Pharmaceuticals.

    Related example: Killing Rats. One method is to put Dry Ice in their nests/burrows. The CO2 suffocates them. It is illegal in the US for professional applicators to use it, because no pesticide company has sponsored the necessary environmental studies to prove that CO2 is not a dangerous chemical. So instead they use more costly and possibly dangerous chemical methods.

  8. Ivermectin has saved and helped millions. Those who wish to dismiss that need to be dismissed. We do not need any more fools in this country.

  9. I believe there are 2 studies. The first study compares Ivermectin with Remdesivir. The second looks at Ivermectin as a prophylactic. The screen shot references the first study but the link references the second, so could be confusing.

    I have some issues with the first study, such as why were only 1,000 people prescribed Ivermectin and over 40,000 prescribed Remdesivir? Also Campbell mentions p-factors and percentages but not absolute numbers other than the total study participants. How many Ivermectin users died, for example? Why so few Ivermectin users? For example, the average age of the Remdesivir users was 10 years higher than the Ivermectin users (62 versus 52). As age is an important discriminator in this illness that would seem an important difference. Plus I can’t get a full copy of the paper, just the abstract.

I seems obvious that Ivermectin works as a prophylactic but I’m not convinced it cures covid (or prevents death in covid patients) as Dr. Campbell is suggesting in the first study presented by plastic surgeons from Miami. Also disconcerting is the new Pfizer prophylactic that has NO studies but works like a charm. I guess NO studies = NO side effects 🙂

I have a reference for this – can’t find it – pretty sure it was laid-out in Instapundit – apparently the blacklisting of any mention of Ivermectin in the U.S. was due to a peculiarity on U.S. pandemic law. The emergency measures enacted, specifically fast-streaming approval of the vaccines, was only permissible if there was no established alternate treatment identified – so if Ivermectin was out there, expedited vaccine approval would’ve been a no-no.

    And why the rush to approve the vaccines, even at the expense of the tens of thousands who lost their lives because Ivermectin-as-an-approved-treatment was stifled? I betcha’ the 40+ new COVID billionaires wanted it like that, and “had ways” of making the authorities’ pockets appreciate doing it “their way”…

    As always, follow the money.

  13. You need to watch the original video (its 16 minutes).

    The first study was data from American hospitals. The US was threatening doctors and patients with nasty consequences for even mentioning the word “Ivermectin”, that is why 40k to 1k patients. Total numbers are mentioned in the full video, as was control of a number of factors in the analysis, including age.

    1. I watched the video again. He says there was a control for age but I doubt it. Of the 64 million patients, roughly 1,000 were treated only with Ivermectin and 41,000 treated only with Remdesivir. If the 1,000 patients treated with Ivermectin were controlled for age there wouldn’t be 1,000 patients any more. Plus two of the four authors are plastic surgeons including the lead author. That makes me a little nervous.

      Also it was a paper given at a conference. There is no published paper other than the Abstract. I would like to believe in Ivermectin but this paper doesn’t give me much confidence.

      There is no mention of how many patients died (after using either Ivermectin or Remdesivir) even though the purpose of the study was to determine how many patients died. That is confusing.

  14. Believe in it based on India or japan. Believe in it as the African countries that use Ivermectin as an anti=parasitic had no significant Covid death toll.
