    1. Oh the optics, especially on the world scene, of armed soldiers pushing out peaceful, unarmed protesters in Canada’s capital are going to be just dandy. I’m sure the Chief of the Defence Staff is telling his minister that calling in the troops would be a very bad idea indeed. Hint: the downtown core would be cleared, but the resulting hard feelings and the world finally realizing there’s not much difference between Trudeau and Kim Jong Un will bring down the liberal government and I suspect a few provincial governments as well. Trudeau might not get the Rumanian treatment, but his political career will.

      1. I liked the optics on Tuesday of the truckers clearing the snow from the sidewalks in Ottawa. That task is usually reserved for the Army in Toronto and Montreal. If Trudeau starts pulling rank (Heh!) I wouldn’t be surprised to see a much bigger demonstration, perhaps in the range of a nation-wide strike. I think that is the next step to really get the attention of people like these blue-hued Karens and civil and public servants across the board. For far too long we have allowed people who add nothing to the national economy the power to dictate to the producers and transporters of product. It is time to bring the whole machine to a stop and begin a recalibration of society. Enough with the lockdowns and mandates, threats and coersion.
