I just happened to have the CBC on when this occurred because I want to see what bullshitz they are spreading now….and the CBC kept cutting the feed whenever a point against their narrative was made. The the CBC when to a “women’s activist” so she could explain how the women she is helping are terrified, suffering mental anguish, signing themselves into hospitals because of all the trucks.

    Sorry ladies….but if this is how delicate you are; no wonder you are nuts.

    2. I supervised the work of many women like these while working for a provincial crown corporation. One of the ways they try to gain control is claiming to be victims, often citing harassment, triggering, safety, or some other modern form of the vapors. I called them crybullies. Public employment tends to attract and/or create them. Such behavior doesn’t work as well in the real world of employment.

        I worked for a certain “high tech” outfit 40 years ago where we had a perennial victim. She went so far as to going around to offices of certain colleagues to ensure that they met with her “standards” (i. e., nothing “offensive” to women and the like–even pictures of certain members of the Royal Family would set her off).

        She became quite insufferable. She made a lot of enemies in the company–even the female staff members hated her. Nobody wanted to work with her, though she could never figure out why. She changed offices so that she wouldn’t clash with her fellow colleagues at her previous desk. The managers spent hours in discussions with her to get her to calm down and co-operate.

        The reason she was kept on was because our client, a certain federal government department, said that she was “essential” to the projects we were working on. The company, as a result, and quite foolishly, bent over backwards to keep her happy.

        Eventually, the management developed some semblance of testicular fortitude and finally gave her the boot. Almost immediately, there was a collective sigh of relief that she was gone at last. As for her being “essential”, her replacement was hired several months later and work on those projects continued without much problem.

    3. But according to the media and Health Officials the hospitals are overwhelmed. Perhaps they are signing themselves into the Psych wards.

  3. The sudden hostility of the Press reminds me of the 4-years of the Trump Administration, where EVERY encounter from the Press was hostile and an opportunity taken for anti-Trump political grandstanding. The shouted questions at this trucker Press Conference were all in the same vein.

    And where was THIS sort of skepticism and demands for accountability during the BLM donations and Big Corporate funding? Why is there STILL no accountability for the $ hundreds of millions donated to BLM? Yet the same feckless Press are suddenly agitated about a $10M Go Fund Me truckers fund?

    The Press ARE the ENEMY. The ENEMY of truth, Justice, fairness, and freedom. Trump is/was absolutely correct … the msm is our ENEMY.

      1. More than that. The MSM are the enemy on either side of the Atlantic. A minor correction for Kenji: the press is not suddenly hostile. It’s been hostile to anything that contradicted their socialist narrative for decades. Stephen Harper had to deal with the same kind of endless assault from CBC, CTV, Global and TorStar for many years.

        As to this event, this is how the scum lose. The truckers came in, were thoroughly well disciplined and had first rate advice as to how to do this. This event showed that Kenji and the others are right: the MSM is the enemy. Trudeau and his puppet-master Butts are in large part their creation. We have a fake Prime Minister, just as the United States has a fake President.

        1. To clarify, I meant “sudden” in the sense of the instantaneous tone change when going from Obama’s friendly-questions to Trump’s hate driven-questions and back to Jao Bidinh’s softball, fawning, questions.

It would be interesting to discover just how many places they dare not go without a police escort. It would not surprise me if CNN found it impossible to go a number of places now in the United States. Is the CBC getting to that point?

    1. As has been said here earlier….Where was all this concern for mental health during the past 2 years? When suicide shot through the roof, when drug overdoses and domestic abuse hit all time highs? When seniors died alone and untouched?
      But when some emotional speed bumps happen to the snowflakes, suddenly it matters? You honestly think your “pwecious feewings” can match the anguish of a young person taking their own life in an alley behind my home?
      Go coddle your “feewings” elsewhere.

Are any of you old enough to remember how the residents of Gander, Newfoundland, in the weeks following September 11, 2001, generously hosted everyone on all of the American airliners that were forced to land there? It would be interesting to see how these 3 selfish women would react if it was pointed out to them how they’re acting in exactly the opposite way!

    In point of fact though, SO MANY OTTAWA RESIDENTS are reaching out and generously assisting the truckers!!!

  16. L-Clearly, the Trucker Convoy is better organized, more conscientious and efficient, including at looking after Ottawa, than is the federal government. Cpl. Bulford is still a Peace Officer, as professional and dedicated as they come. He should be reinstated and placed in charge of Commercial Crime and/or Security branches of the RCMP. Or appointed head of say, the Sask. Provincial Police!

    Trudeau’s image is damaged, not even a professional spin (G. Butts)doctor, can do enough plastic surgery(spin doctoring) to repair it. The horns are showing through his hairdo and the outline of his cloven hooves is visible beneath his socks.

  17. The big men with guns—cops and soldiers both—have told Justin and Chrystia to drop dead. If the good guys are on CPAC, the press have seen the writing on the wall and started doing some real reporting, now it no longer makes business sense to lie.

    All that’s left is for the Fruit and the Uke to choose between surrender, suicide or going into exile, if any country will have them.

  19. It gives me great pleasure every time the Media Whores report how “inconvenienced” residents living near by are, by the demonstration. These are likely 90% federal civil servants who long ago drank the liberal cool-aid. They are the ones who have been proposing policies and enforcing regulations that have been “inconveniencing” us for decades.

    1. These civil servants are all “working” from home on that new laptop the taxpayers provided them with. All that noisy litter collection, pizza baking and food runs to the homeless shelter by the mean-spirited, racist truckers is really disturbing to said civil servants as they’re signed into the government portal for Zoom conferences concerning the nuances of transgender washrooms and how to complete the paperwork on how to claim a “personal day” should you experience “triggering events”.

    1. It is simple, most of the North American and European media are owned by a few conglomerates so their job is to push corporate agenda. For example, other then CBS, every single large US media company has a member of a board ofdirectors who is a rep for a Big Pharma.. Need I say more? I stopped watching TV 15 years ago, and only rarely scan our lovely bought and paid for Canadian media online and only because I want to know what the enemy is thinking.

      Yes she did and I believe it was intentional in that it gives him something to aspire to ..if he is willing to act on it.
      An ex of mine from the past imparted some words of wisdom on me many years ago when I was having a minor altercation with a client (in my early contracting years), and happened to mention it in passing at the dinner table.
      She asked me if I had said something positive about him during our encounter to which I had to admit ‘no’ I hadn’t thought to. She then said that it was important to do so in order to keep the conversation on an even and productive keel.

      I learned a valuable lesson that day and have always employed that bit of wisdom and it has proven itself over and over.
      She was a good woman and passed away some years ago at much too young an age and I will always thank her for that message.

  27. A more likely explanation is that Tamara, like me, was expecting eminent movement on the dropping of some mandates because of his “teasing” that something very significant was about to be announced. She mentioned Moe without likely having the time to examine what he actually DID!

    The suggestion that she was trying to influence him I don’t think this very fine women would even attempt to do. It would be beneath her.

  28. I listened to Peter Slaphead Mansbridge’s podcast on xm radio yesterday. His guest was pollster Bruce Anderson. Maybe I should just quit here… but I’ll carry on.

    Anderson is the ultimate Ottawa insider. He’s tied to the PMO and incapable of even the most tepid criticism of the LPC. Predictably he went off on the protest. Agitated, he called them significant nazis with appalling behaviour. He suggested they bring in the police and get the truckers the hell outa Dodge – they are God Damned crazy. Whew.

    Slaphead of course was with him on every step. You know the protest is getting to the elites when they are losing their mind after less than a week of inconvenience.

    It hasn’t occurred to any of these guys that there is a significant groundswell of discontent in the country. They don’t recognize that after 4 years of the “‘deplorable Donald Trump” 75 million Americans voted for him. More than in 2016. People are upset with the status quo and want change. They want the government out of their face.

    1. Today on CPAC there was a coven of Corporate and State Media agents not asking questions but rather demanding the military be brought in to kill the protestors. They angrily and forcefully demanded military action over and over again. Vicious fascists.
