Try and find ANYTHING that isn’t made there. We check every label. Even UPC bar codes can be misleading. We’ll take made in Taiwan or Vietnam, if necessary, but it’s almost impossible to purchase much that isn’t made offshore.

I am not going to be able to bring it back exactly but Canadian produce was being sold cheap, shipped outside of Canada and returned to Canada, for sale at additional profit, as product from another country.
I bought a bunch of furniture recently and it was all made in Vietnam and Indonesia. The only thing I bought from China since Christmas was a plastic microwave food cover, $2.99. I think a lot of people are checking where stuff is made now.
Most of the “Boycott China” people are hypocrites, posting on their Iphones or Samsungs, brushing their teeth, microwaving snacks, using their cordless tools, and keeping their food fresh in products from China.
My 7-piece Cusinart cookware set is made in Cina, $500.
My single 8″ All-clad frying pan is made in the USA, $200.

Saw a presentation at CBC News @10pm last night. Adrienne Arsenault, in Beijing. She seems to go ok for a while (how China is bullying it’s way on international front, how tyrannical is Chinese gov with it’s own citizens and so on) but every once in a while she’s inserting BS: Trump=bad, climate change crap etc. It felt like some mandatory pinging from mothership: Are we compliant? CTV News* flipped the narrative last night on its flagship news broadcast. Apparently O’Toole, contrary to all preceding news coverage, had been an asset to the CPC all along. He even won the popular vote in the last election; (probably the very first time CTV acknowledged that Trudeau Junior had lost the popular vote). CTV went on to observe that the CPC is divided between the “moderate” upper Canadian wing, and those wide-eyed, mouth-foaming red necks from the uppity hinter regions. CTV’s final pronouncement: another victory for Junior, who just keeps on winning, as the CPC will have a long, laborious struggle to mount a credible challenge in the next election.
