The current health order expires on Feb. 28. Moe said the vaccination policy will end sometime this month.

  7. Trudeau has made it clear that the Truckers are “white supremacists and fascists”. He can’t back down. So, expect some kind of punishment for truckers and their supporters. Cut and Run Justin has to make it clear that he’s in charge. The media has been supporting him, so he won’t back down.

    As for the Premiers. They’ll probably drop the restrictions but they have to make it clear that it has NOTHING TO DO with the protesters. The scientific evidence must be “updated” and they’ll drop the restrictions in a month or two, once the truckers have gone home. Again, to make it clear that they are in charge.

    Unless Trudeau does something really stupid like calling in the army, in which case expect a trucker strike and hope you have enough canned food to survive the total supply chain shut down that will follow.

  8. The current health order was supposed to end on Jan 31st. It was extended to the end of Feb. If Moe was serious he would’ve announced an immediate end. He didn’t, instead the restrictions were extended. Why? When will they stop being afraid of the NDP and the MSM? As for interprovincial vax passes — maybe someone should ask Moe if the province is in negotiations with Ottawa about this.

    What about the Charter of Rights and Freedoms that was supposed to prevent rule by polling and this ever happening to start with?
    Polls and fear is how they got us into this mess of trashing the Constitutional freedoms; no public polls are supposed to be able to overturn the Constitution because “people want it”. Now that people are less scared, they’ll dial back the tyranny? What happens when the new variant comes over from the Olympics. Right around Feb 28th when Moe lifts the mandates? Guess it will all be back on because it’s popular to shit your pants again and wipe it with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Meanwhile every in power politician in Canada has been wiping their backside with the Charter for 2 years.
    When you have a Charter, it’s supposed to overrule popularity contests.

Just this morning, a nasty post … posing as a question on my local NextDoor app asked; “Does anyone know of a Walnut Creek Restaurant that properly enforces the COVID rules?”. Seems this woman is disgusted that she’s entered restaurants that DON’T check every patrons vaxx card … double-checked against their photo ID! And further … that they improperly enforce the mask mandate (demand putting masks back on between bites).

    It would have been bad-enough that this ewe of a woman was whining in public about not ENOUGH government intrusion and enslavement … but dozens and dozens of other (mostly whimmen) piled on with equally nasty comments about all those scofflaws who don’t believe in science.

    We are LOST. Even IF this is California …
