  1. I’ve been to Cusco and I don’t even remember this stuff. I remember Paddy’s pub…the highest Irish pub in the world.

  2. For years we were told megalithic walls were constructed using stone hammers and slaves…lots and lots of slaves and lots and lots of time.
    Yeah right.
When Spanish explorers asked the Inca how the hell they built their walls the answer was always “we didn’t…it was always here”.
Why is that so hard to believe?
    Anyways, great video.

  3. It is the same story with the pyramids. The Egyptians did not build them. They did not have the tools. They built on top of existing structures.

  4. Thanks Kate good find. I have always been amazed by these ancient artifacts. The sheer size and scope and especially the joinery.

  5. A few years ago our daughter had the good fortune to live at Cusco for 6 weeks From Cusco she was able to take in many of the sites of the Sacred Valley. One highlight was the overland 3 nights tenting trip to Manchu Picchu in order to enter Manchu Picchu at dawn via the sun gate. Fortunately it was a perfectly clear cloudless day with unlimited views of the site.
