Trudeau’s Clown World

Wither Canada:

Some countries and states have responded to Covid humanely and rationally. They seem aware that humanity cannot outrun a virus, and that punishing everyone with endless lockdowns and the removal of rights and freedoms is not acceptable in a democracy.

By contrast, I present to you Canada, which has opted for the clown route. In this, it has the support of most of its population, who are too brainwashed to admit that their compliance — not the virus itself — is what will ensure this “pandemic” goes on forever, and that there will be no “going back to normal.”

This past week, the Canadian government reintroduced on-arrival Covid testing and quarantine for travelers from all countries except the US. If you’re a Canadian and you did as you were told and pledged your allegiance to Pfizer, you still have to get tested before you can board a plane home and then get tested again upon arrival. You may still have to quarantine for fourteen days, even if vaccinated, if a border officer “determines that you must self-isolate.” That quarantine may have to take place in a “designated quarantine facility” so that select parties can at least profit from the end of civilization. Travelers from designated countries have already been forced into ill-equipped quarantine facilities despite being whatever now qualifies as “fully vaccinated” and having received a negative Covid test.

  1. All we have to do is vote them out, huh? It would have been better if she had mentioned the one party which is NOT supporting our overblown covid regulations. Come on, say their name.

  2. And the good folks here laugh at me when I say 85% Canadians are dumber than a door knob. Heck the fags over at bcf ban me from commenting there (as true Liberals do).
The insanity won’t stop because LibCons/NDP/BQ run the show.
No more than 85% are vaccinated.
    Coincidence?

    1. Ahmed, I nor others here laugh at any assertion pointing out the lack of intellect among Canadians. BCF has not banned me and I am sure you have read my vilification of the smarts of most people.

    2. They are not dumber than a doorknob, they are just toddlers, doing what toddlers do. 60 years of mommy government taking your money and making all the “grown up” decisions has created the most infantilized society ever imagined. Business not good? Subsidize me mommy! I’m sick! Help me mommy! I’m offended! Make the mean people go away mommy! I cant fend for myself. Give me my allowance mommy!

What would anyone expect other than what we have?

      1. Peter, I just read at True North that the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) reports that revenue is down in companies where injection passports are required. HOWEVER they agree with the injection passport mandate and are appealing for more subsidy funds.

      2. That’s a pretty good description of the average canuck – a toddler who is lost without its mother. Except toddlers are not as smug or nauseatingly self-righteous as the average canadian. They preen in the glow of their own self-worth and ignorance, and look down on others who are smarter and more accomplished with distaste. And nobody – sadly – embraces statism and government control nor holds liberty in higher suspicion and contempt as does the canadian toddler.

The toddler canuck saves their harshest criticism for Americans, whose independence, ingenuity and love of liberty (at least until the Maobama and Bribem years) threatened the toddler canadian, who are insanely envious of their neighbours to the south. FFS, look at the masturbatory self-congratulation and bows taken for the Canadarm®, which for all its greatness and self-important canadian puffery would have served to do nothing more useful than provide 15-meter terrestrial händjobs to PET without the Space Shuttle to take it skyward.

It’s easy to hold the average canadian adult toddler in scathing contempt because no nation of irrelevants have done more to earn it.

  3. As has been said many times, the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over expecting a different result.

  4. The bureaucracies have a strangle-hold on us now.
They will enrich themselves and impoverish all others.

  5. Watching the vaccine zealots faces’ light up at the thought of a third and fourth booster makes me queasy. You can’t rationalize with those zealots, three shots in and we’re still in covid prison, but oh well that third jabba jabba will free them right??

  6. And here is one of Global Edmonton’s headlines this morning: COVID-19: What can you do in Alberta during the holidays? It goes on to relate what you are allowed to do (and not do). Allowed? None of the restrictions make any sense but hey, the government is doing something, right? NOTHING to “stop the spread” has worked to date but they keep doing the same ridiculous things over and over again. As far as I can tell, with the exception of those who are still wearing masks outside while avoiding everyone by criss-crossing the street, people are getting on with their lives regardless of any so-called “rules.”

  7. But Canadians agreed to be locked down and be-masked and the whole lot.

Justin is only as powerful as the Chinese let him be. He has a presence because idiots put him in office.

  8. “Wither Canada” – is that a typo (should be whither, as in where the hell are we going), or is it an ironic commentary on what Zoolander is doing to the country (withering it into a dried out empty husk)?
