DOGE is still at work. Since the beginning of the Trump Administration, [the Social Security Administration] has corrected nearly 15 percent of all active SSNs across approximately 330 million U.S. citizens and nearly 390 million total records.
That’s a lot of fat fingers.

17 million missing dates of death added.
Does that mean there are 17 million fewer voters?
Or do they still get to vote in California?
They’re voting in Illinois.
How many of the 17 million were still receiving social security checks (or direct deposit)?
Will anyone be charged?
Two very important questions. The crux of the matter, actually.
*somebody* had to know person x was deceased and the cheques were still being cashed.
follow the paper trail, look at the videos in the banks the moment the withdrawls made there is a mountain of evidence that sets a well used path to successful investigations, maybe some money returned in the form of seized assets etc etc.
Having a crux in a government matter violates the separation of church and state!
One would have thought that corruption would be a higher profile campaign issue.
Not when diesel is 6.50/gal
You’re right … the Democrats will immediately lower the price of Diesel as they LOVE our fossil fuel industry. SMH.
Oh! And they’ll demand higher CAFE fuel standards, raising the price of vehicles far beyond whatever extra you’re paying for fuel now.
Maybe they’ll pull a Pierre Trudeau; during an election he I promised not to raise the price of gasoline by 18 cents a gallon.
After he was elected, he raised it by more than 18 cents.
Makes one wonder why corruption isn’t a bigger issue.
Its the work that every legistlator should be on board with.
Those that aren’t hate their country.
Wake me when they reveal Bathhouse Barry doesn’t hold a valid SS card.
15 % down, 85% to go.
This is the kind of stuff that is worth electing people for. Unglamorous, boring, campaigning on it will never get you elected, but critical for a government to function properly. This should get Trump accolades, but instead they’ll either ignore it or pillory him for it.
Why doesn’t Trump talk more about reducing corruption?
