Out of “an abundance of caution” this years Grey Cup Parade has been cancelled. A party will be much safer.
Gates will open to fans at 5 p.m. with entry limited to gates 1, 2 and 3. The event is free to attend but fans will need to provide proof of immunization to enter the stadium. Limited concessions will be open and serving food and beverages.
The Grey Cup Championship Celebration presented by BellMTS will be hosted by retiring CJOB broadcaster Bob Irving and feature speeches from players and dignitaries. Unlike their last Grey Cup win in 2019, there will be no Grey Cup parade this year. “Health and safety regulations prevent us from having a parade this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate together,”
