Millions of truckers are balking at President Joe Biden’s workplace vaccine mandate, which would be catastrophic for the nation’s supply chain problem if it is enforced, an American Trucking Associations executive told House members this week.
“We’ve tried to be very clear to the administration — I understand the logic behind it — but if you do this, these are the consequences,” said ATA President Chris Spear. “So if you’re trying to solve the supply chain problem, you’re actually compounding it and actually hurting the very problem you’re trying to fix.”
Canadian cross border truckers will also need to be vaccinated soon. This is an immigration rule, so even if the ATA is successful it will have no bearing on Canadian truckers.

I am certainly not dismissing the “evil” angle, but when great gobs of people can be thoroughly convinced that Trump’s great reign was “evil”(along with Harper’s milquetoast one), then it is wise to stop and consider how easy it is to believe that Biden’s or Trudeau’s horrid policies are “evil” in return. Many ‘Bernie bros’ hate Biden and his policies almost as much we conservatives do, but I have never heard them call him “evil”. It is also wise to be wary of falling into our own ‘groupthink traps’.
All that said, personally, I have witnessed far too many purposely destructive policies by leftards to believe anything but malice as their motive. I suspect that in most leftards’ eyes, they are simply ‘breaking eggs to make an omelet’, but I find it impossible to believe they can be totally ignorant of the death and suffering their policies are directly causing. Totally agree. It might be good exercise for the critical thinking part of our brains to speculate on his motives, but at the end of the day they don’t matter and we might be wrong anyway. His actions are what matter. Both our countries need a revolution.
Not that it matters but are they actually his motives? Or would they be if he was still all there? I would think for the entirety of his political career, his motives have been to promote himself, sell himself to the highest bidder and make a lot of money. He’s just another tool.
