  1. I never saw the movie Ron Burgundy, but it sounds like Biden’s a lot like the character Ted Baxter from the old TV series The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

    1. He’s also a lot like a turnip. Actually to be fair, he seemed almost semi-together there. Probably jazzed up on amphetamines.

    1. Many people have forgotten that’s why he dropped out of the 1988 presidential race after it was reported that he had filched the words of his speeches from other sources.

As public polling indicates more and more Americans are coming around to believing he’s got issues with his mental faculties, there is the other issue of Harris being even more unpopular than he is. You’ve got stories being published regularly about how out of her depth she is as VP that they pretty much have put her on the shelf, so it would be a fair assumption that the cabinet secretaries pick up some of the slack. The one who seems to get the most air time (when he’s not on paternity leave) is Mayor Pete, now Secretary of Transportation. I know there’s been speculation about removing her and him being one of the top candidates to replace her, which would require (a) making it unpalatable for her to stay, so she resigns; and (b) both houses of Congress voting to approve a new VP.

    It’s also not a state secret that Harris and Jill Biden can’t stand each other. Of course, part of the reason all of this is going on is Jill’s ambition to be FLOTUS was rather strong.

  4. I think it’s time that Psaki the Flacki was replaced with Baghdad Bob. If there is an availability problem, the CNN guy who straight faced mostly peaceful protest in front of an inferno would be an excellent second choice.

  5. I’m as big a ‘let’s go Brandon’ fan as the next guy but I think this ‘gotcha’ is a miss. I think it’s okay to finish a quotation with ‘end of quote’ to formally demarcate the point where the quote ends and the speaker’s own thoughts resume.

  6. Having witnessed friends and family members mental decline, I think Biden does not have much longer before someone will have to take action and remove him from office.

      1. My original guess was that Biden would get 1 full year in and then they would replace him with Harris. Now, of course, I think the fact people hate her even more than Biden throws that theory clear out the window. They have little choice now but to continue his presidency on life support.

        The Dems cheated on multiple levels, and yet they STILL managed to deal themselves a shitty, shitty hand. I will enjoy, with great pleasure, watching them play it out. So far, their exposed cards are a black Queen and a red Jack-off.

  7. I had a neighbor who suffered from dementia, one day I forget to lock my front door and he came into the house and ordered me out “Screaming get out of my house”. Scared me to death- the dog ran him off, his wife found him wondering the street. Unexplained out bursts and anger are signs of advanced dementia and slow Joe is showing some of the above signs.
