Between 2016 and 2017, the number of gender surgeries for natal females in the US quadrupled; in the UK, the rates of gender dysphoria for teenage girls are up 4,400 percent over the previous decade. An ailment that typically began in early childhood, and overwhelmingly afflicted males, suddenly has a new dominant demographic: teenage girls.
In 2016, Brown University public health researcher Lisa Littman was scrolling through social media when she noticed that a group of teen girls from her small town in Rhode Island — all from the same friend group — had come out as transgender.
Intrigued by the statistical unlikelihood, Littman began to study the phenomenon and, in 2018, published the results. She hypothesized that transgender identification had become one more peer contagion among adolescent females. Anxiety-ridden, middle-class girls who once engaged in cutting or anorexia were now wearing “binders” (breast-compressing undergarments), taking testosterone and undergoing voluntary double mastectomies.
Mass insanity seems to have gripped the world.

Science is not required and has nothing to do with it anymore. If Lady Gaga sings “Born This Way”, to them that is all the evidence they need, not facts and logic.
Scientifically, absence of evidence is not necessarily proof. Just because those genes haven’t been found doesn’t mean that they don’t exist. It could simply mean that the right technique to locating them in the genome hasn’t been used (unlikely, I think) or that nobody’s looking for them (possibly).
Personally, I don’t think there are genes for that sort of thing.

Someone somewhat close to me used to bind and a few years back she underwent a double mastectomy. I don’t believe she was under any peer pressure to do so but there were perpetual identity issues from the time she was a little girl. Her folks endorsed the decision, noting their fear of her committing suicide due to depression. Frankly, I haven’t had the heart to tell them that the rate of suicide for TG’s is no lower. I refuse to call her, “him” and I use her birth name. It’s driven a bit of a wedge between us.
A bit of a stretch but there are some parallels. Recently took in a surprisingly well done CBC documentary on YouTube of the the Martenville Sask. satanic ritual abuse scandal sometime in the nineties…I confess it had completely fallen off my radar so I thought I’d give it a listen.
The thing that stood out the most for me was how normally rational people can be driven to utter irrationality at the drop of a hat, I’m talking about parents here and It absolutely cleaved the community, the effects of which are still felt today.
Lots of blame to go around but if I had to choose I’d pick the medical community, more specifically psychologists, psychiatrists and counsellors who proved they can talk a kid into almost anything if given enough time and asking the right questions over and over again. Straight up evil.

Amazing isn’t it. The medical establishment and some doctors are willing if not advocating to appease the delusions of a small number of persons wanting to change genders. On the other hand they will not entertain the rational desire of a very significant minority to not get jabbed or of those who want to use alternative therapeutics that have demonstrable beneficial effects on COVID. It does make one question what the agenda is.
Doctors can perform irreversible transgender surgery and prescribe hormones, puberty blockers, etc. They can chop and dice anyone who wants surgery to alter their appearance. They can murder babies in the womb for any reason and at any stage of pregnancy. They will even kill you if you ask nicely.
But providing Ivermectin, a drug proven safe over millions of doses, even as a placebo to people trying to prevent or recover from Covid is grounds for pulling their license to practice medicine. Same for several other potential Covid treatment options.
What’s the matter? Not enough money to be made? Or will it save too many lives?

Don’t actually get cutting. I have known a few girls who have cut. I remember one used to cut on her thighs because she needed to hide it from her Mum because she didn’t want her Mum to get upset.
I also dated a girl who had some serious cutting marks all down her forearm. It bewildered me but she used to just shrug it off when I asked her about it. Said she used to go to dark places but that was in the past.

The other thing I have noticed is that if you go to strip clubs… for research… obviously… and after a while it was very clear that a LOT of the girls working in those places had cutting scars. Once you start noticing them they become easier to spot.
